Well this will be my last post for 2 weeks, since im leaving for Disney world tomorrow(1 week in Florida area and one for Disney world)

since i started here around September started with $1500 and added $1000 over time.

my grand total ended up with...

$1700 Southwest gift cards

$3000 Disney gift cards(dad is retired military so he bought the park tickets)

$500 Choice Hotel gift cards

$500 miscellaneous gift cards.

$1000 random ebay stuff i bought for myself

so saved a whole bunch of money for my families trip so thanks everyone
remember i started with two ebay and paypal accounts so my results are not the norm

ps have 400 in ebay bucks, 900 target gift cards and 650 in ebates left over to start for my next trip.

I bought $200 in GC from gc rescue online. Today I went to target to redeem for disney gift cards and $120 of it had already been redeemed!!! I'm out over half of the money at the moment. Any experience with this? I called target and they said they couldn't do anything. GC rescue is closed for the night. Thoughts? Tips? Experience? Thanks for any help.

No, you cannot pay a credit card with a credit card.

Stands for Paypal digital giftcards, you can by egift cards there for places like Gamestop, or eBay gcs.

So I bought $200 in target gcs to combine two $100 cards. Bought them about 3,4 hours ago. Not that long ago but they always show up pretty quickly. I know some people said yesterday they had not received their cards yet at the time of posting. Just wondering if you finally got them or still waiting, or if you cancelled them. I did do ebates since I'll be buying like half my eBay order in store, thus way I'll still get some CB. That credited pretty quickly, so just wondering what's up with my gcs and seeing how others fared yesterday with the ones that took awhile to arrive.

Eta: of course, it arrived right after Posting! Off to buy some eBay gcs in store and then combine the $100's into one card to get a round or two in online in the next week. Hope to receive and be ready for ebucks promo offer with my newly 'arrived a day too late' cards, if one comes next week while on our DL trip!

if you have not done so already submit a claim to the website you bought the card from. check the balance as soon as you get the cards. it happens. one of the down sides of buying from a re-seller.

I used a $100 Visa debit gc that I got for switching cable Company.

I'd like to know more about this too. Can you pay a Target Redcard balance with another cc?

I'm surprised that I never tried to pay with a credit card. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work though but that doesn't usually stop me from trying.

PHEW, my PPDG issue is resolved. I finally got my email today after a week of waiting. I sent an eBay message yesterday and an email today (because I hadn't heard back in 24 hours, and that's about my limit with getting in touch with companies before I bug them again). I'm not sure if it never came, or if it came and I deleted it, but I have it now.

Your problem isn't with Target. It's something that giftcardrescue needs to resolve. I hope that they offer a guarantee on the GCs that they sell and that you are within the grace period for making a claim. I have not dealt with that company before and I stopped buying Target GCs on the resale market due to the very problem that you are experiencing. I hope it all works out for you.

ETA: I just looked up their refund policy. I sure hope that you got physical Target GCs and not electronic ones. Their refund policy regarding electronic GCs is one of the most stringent I've ever seen.

So I've been doing really well with the target>eBay>GS>eBay>Target cycle the past couple months. I had also been buying all of my gas with gift cards I bought on eBay with my everyday cc from Sunoco,Sheetz,etc- whichever was on sale during the promo. This last round I had an "ah-ha" moment and thought of a way to maximize my gas card purchases. Our Giant Eagle has .20 off per gallon up to 30 gallon fuel perks for every $50 in gift card purchases. So...

$200 in eBay cards I purchased at Giant Eagle gets me $24 savings in gas fuel rewards, $4 in my credit card rewards, I bought the Speedway gas cards on eBay at $4 off of $50 each ($16 total), and$16 eBay bucks. That's a total of $60 savings!

Has anyone had a package from GCM not have updated tracking information? It shipped on 04/29 and still says marked as shipped. 2 other packages that were shipped in 04/30 have already been delivered. The estimated delivery date is not until 05/10 but I guess I am worried that it is lost.

Yes, I had this problem. Did you track the package? Mine was delivered to another state. Totally wrong address. I contacted GCM through ebay and they were quick to respond. I verified my correct address and their sending out new cards.

I also had one order where it was never marked shipped but I had it delivered. Human error.

From what I took from it and from what I've experienced when calling CS, is that it was the supposed "seller protection/security" that was locking us out from our accounts from ordering PPDG cards and having us to verify our accounts a million times before ordering. I might be wrong, but it seems like they might either be modifying the system to prevent it from happening again.

So are you thinking maybe we won't have so many issues trying to order from PPDG then next time? That would be great, I really liked the GS to ebay a time or two before doing ebay to target for making some extra ebucks. So far has worked great at my GS but lately I can't buy anything thru PPDG.

I was checking each day for Ebucks promos to take advantage of. I was checking each morning and late evening. The only one I received was the 6 hour promo and missed that by just a few minutes. I think we need to have an email alert system and have it work like the Amber alert system on our cell phones so we don't miss them.
Now that alert system would be great! I almost missed that 6 hour promo, but just happened to be checking email in a timely manner, lol! I had no idea they ever did those flash sales but wouldn't be surprised to see more in the future!

If they are aware of the ebay churn, they could see this as an opportunity to maximize profits. Because you will still buy to get the ebucks at ebay.
Maybe, but I seriously was thinking about where else I would buy some ebay cards to do some churning, as it wouldn't matter if I bought them at target if I wasn't gonna get any benefit from that step.

No one has to lose for all to make money. All we are doing is playing the arbitrage between a buyer and seller. There are investment bankers and hedge funds that make their living from this. They find a buyer who is willing to pay one price and a seller who is selling for a lesser price. They buy from one then sell to the other. They keep the difference. We are doing the same with GCs. Stores are marking up their goods by as much as 100%. They can afford to sell GCs at a discount.

I still have 2 orders on my account and 1 on DD25's account that still show as not shipped, but I received them! They were shipped USPS, and was from the promos at the very end of March. Last week's flash promo gc's were shipped in two days and received today! Yay, but for the fact I wanted to use in the promo we got for Monday and Tuesday, but at least they showed up safely I guess. Very strange though that those others still show unshipped.

It literally took 5 minutes and now I don't have to worry about the 4 GC limit on Target.com amd I don't have to scratch so many cards for the teeny tiny codes!

I have been taking a pic with my phone so I can zoom in and read the stupid teeny tiny codes and have a record of them also.

We have a gift card tower by our greeting cards. There were lots of Disney 100s today but I didn't look for ebay.

That is where they are in the closest store to me also, they were overflowing with $100 Disney was hoping it meant a sale was coming up. Also an abundance of $200 ebay cards.

When Target cancels part of your order (sunscreen not gc's), are the funds placed back on the gc and will that be be in my "saved" balances on Target.com? Sorry, I only have a phone to figure this out and it's acting wonky.

Haha! That's what I do to be able to read them lol. Also helps if I somehow scratch off part of a number, lol, I can see what's left and figure it out. I don't save the pics though, but I do still have all the cards
