Disney Gift Card Deals

Ours too. We have several Super Targets and none of them have self checkouts. The one that does is a regular Target with a small grocery section (no produce, deli, bakery sections).

I honestly think all of this is too inconsistent not to be a glitch. If they want to stop the RC discount when paying with a gift card, then why not make it for all items instead of just GCs? If they wanted to stop GCs for GCs, why not change the in store system too? If they wanted to stop the RC discount on any gift cards, why not change it online and in store at the same time?

Unfortunately for me, I need to have everything converted in the next couple of weeks, so I'm getting pretty anxious with all of this uncertainty.

Your comments remind me of something a Target floor manager said to me when I was returning the Superman plates and napkins I received rather than the wireless speaker I ordered for my husband's B-day gift. I asked if they could just reorder it for me and she said "No, I know it seems odd but Target and Target.com are actually two different companies." The inconsistent manner in which policies are (or may be) handled by Target and Target.com is not uncommon in larger corporations that operate with multiple entities. I hope things get worked out in time for your vacation.

Yes I agree that I don't think the HEB coupon is intended for Disney GC. I figure the worst that happens is they tell me no.

Yesterday was hit or miss depending where I was and the time of day. My husband had zero success during the day but I was successful at multiple HEBs later in the evening (9-11 pm). I even had one manager tell me she was planning to do the deal too. I told her I would see her again tomorrow.

Another manager told me that there is a "glitch" in the system and they have a help ticket trying to get it resolved - hopefully today and told me to call and see if it is fixed.

I just left 1431 & Parmer and was told no, rather sternly. This manager was a little rude, a different one the other day had no problem doing it. I might try the store by Ikea tomorrow, had no issue there yesterday.

I went to the store across from Ikea yesterday and the manager did it, but was dubious and said he was going to have to "look into this further for the future." There's only two more days on the coupon so it's about to become a moot point.

I had no issues at the store in Pflugerville at Wells Branch Parkway and I-35. I'm going to try there again tomorrow since it's on my way to/from school pickup for my DD.

That's where I got shot down last night. (And it's actually in Austin, even though everyone thinks it's Pflugerville)

I too hope the OP gets it figured out!

Just wanted to chime in that this is not the first time I have heard about this. I had a problem with Victoria's Secret in the past and it was ridiculous. Something along the lines of ordering online, not being able to return in store or exchange in store, etc. It's so confusing to me!

I shop at the children's place and when you order online from them you have to pay attention to the item description-some are "online only items" which means if they arrive and you aren't satisfied you have to ship them back to return/zither will not accept returns at the stores (so I never order those lol). Target on the other hand takes everything back (at this point) to my knowledge. They have a small clearance area in the kids/babies section and often the stuff there says "online item" on the tag.

Unless policy has changed, Wal-Mart won't even price match between store and website. So seems they are different entities as well.

Interesting...on the Target .com website, the pages have not changed in appearance when I use Firefox (probably because I haven't cleared cookies in a while) but if I'm on Chrome, I can't even log in on the newly designed website due to an unresponsive script.

I think that Target must have hired former Disney IT people to run their website.

Does it still show that the eBay cards on Target.com are still out of stock/in store only?

I'm on my work computer right now running Chrome and was able to put 5 $100 gift cards in my cart. I was able to go past the cc details right before you submit an order. No 5% discount though. Target.com didn't look any different either.

I don't recall seeing that the eBay electronic cards were every an issue (I can currently still order some with NO 5% discount); the issue is still with the majority of physical gift cards not being available.

Ebay shows s online only for me still ( I looked at the $200). I can add it to my cart but the 5% never comes off. Website looks same to me also.

Ah, I guess I read the previous posts wrong. I thought one of the issues was that the e-cards were showing in store only and not even available on the website.

With FD being released, hopefully it'll keep me busy on deciding whether I should add it to my reservation until tomorrow when (hopefully) a new ebucks promo is dropped.

If I purchase eBay gift cards from Target.com at 5% off, how do I convert them to Disney gift cards?
Buy target gift cards from gift card mall on eBay and use those to buy Disney gift cards. But 5% off isn't working online and target has no Disney gift cards online.

I placed an EBay GCM order on Thursday to get the EBucks promo. I did 3 different shipments and the 2 that went USPS are due to arrive today. The $900 order that needs to go UPS for signature is still in IL. I'm in MA. So my theory (for me at least) that the non signature GCM packages ship quicker is still holding true. I'm sure it depends more on what part of the country you are in.

So I think with the cards that arrive today I will head over to Target and buy EBay gift cards in preparation of a potential Ebucks promotion. I just saw today my store now carries the $100 and $200 ebay cards so that makes life easier. If we don't see a turnaround in the 5% soon I may start buying more at Target via store pickup using the Target cards I get from Ebay and therefore getting the 5%, then taking that money to buy EBay cards using my RC discount. For now I'll forgo the 5% until this shakes out.

My signature package from the 18th arrived the 22nd (Friday), my non-signature package from the 19th arrive today and my signature package also from the 19th hasn't even shipped. It seems like GCM is all over the place with these. FWIW, we live one state over (if they are shipping from CO).
