Disney Gift Card Deals

A PP said they got an email confirming the $25 credit. Did you? I bought a $100 Staples e-GC from staples .com, but didn't get an email. Also, I didn't see Disney GCs on their site?

I thought I read the fine print, but maybe I didn't...
I ordered a $100 Disney gift card on their site with one of my AMEX cards and I got the confirmation for the $25 credit two days ago. Today, I order and Ebay gift card with my other AMEX and got the confirmation too. Both are physical cards being shipped - but there is a $1.99 fee.

egift cards work if they are emailed from Staples, not Cashstar. An egift card from Target worked just fine to get the $25 rebate from AMEX.
American Express receives "level 3" data from Staples. They can see exactly what you purchased. Unless people start reporting that they actually received the $25 credit and not just the email, we won't know for certain.

What are some items that everyone orders from Target besides the ruler for Ebates qualification.

Rather than everyone posting a list of items, I'd recommend reviewing the excluded categories on the Ebates site and then searching for items you need from the categories that aren't excluded. I use the "Sort by" option to sort by price (low to high) and then see if anything interests me. The danger in posting a list is that people tend to latch onto those specific items. We saw the price of rulers double once everyone decided that they were the go to item to add. I've found some fun, interesting, very low priced items by following this method.

I agree. I know what I buy, but what I buy really shouldn't matter to anyone else. Just buy whatever you need or might otherwise buy at Target. There is no reason to solo out an item, all that does is cause people to pick it irrationally and then Target starts selling thousands of whatever widget and it draws attention to why. I don't even care if it's a "low priced" item if it's something I'd otherwise have to buy. Like... kids' birthday party presents. It can be $30 I'm still getting it at a huge discount because of the churning process. There is no reason to limit yourselves to the cheapest throwaway item you can find.

I called a different GS today and got the "sure, no problem" answer. So, I am off to try it out! I did a small amt, just in case. If it doesn't work, my daughter will be happy to spend the GS gift card.

I just buy what I need. With the last order, my son needed a belt, they had a bra on sale I wanted, and some hand soap I wanted to try. I set those items to pick up in store and ordered them with my gift cards. I had one order where I bought the new Star Wars DVD and other Star Wars stuff in order to get another $10 off. The price of the added item doesn't really matter if it is something your would have bought anyways. I've also ordered just gift cards.

I agree - try to find stuff you would use anyways. I tried to just find really cheap stuff at first and then I started doing fun stuff. Some lotion I really like that I won't usually pay the 2.00 for - now I have all scents...painter's tape when I was painting a room, etc... I also look for small toys / school supplies that I can include in my operation Christmas child boxes.

Things that have not worked - shaving cream & murphy oil. I realized after I did the Murphy oil that is was household so it wouldn't credit. Not sure why the shaving cream didn't work because a razor I bought outside of gift card purchases got ebates. I try to get baby stuff if I know I'll have a baby shower soon too.
My one word of caution make sure your item is not under the household category.

Last time I bought glue sticks, paper towels and allergy medication. I figured one of those would work. No dice. :(

Pretty sure @Ngwira bought a physical Disney gift card, which qualifies, but requires a small shipping cost. The exclusion is for electronic gift cards, which are delivered via e-mail, and I've read are handled by a third-party company.
I got a $100 Disney physical gift card and recieved the email immediately.

Yes I got the email after buying a physical gift card.
