I haven't spent my ebucks yet (I only have $50 since I started churning at the end of last quarter) and I did not get the offer. DH's account, which we set up about a week ago did not get an offer either.

got the ebucks offer and used my target gc (I cashed in my ebucks on the 1st available day) to order more ebay gc- due to the configuration of the gc,I had to place 2 separate orders (less than $300 each) order seems just fine, waiting on a code-(I closed the window and opened new ones between)
One thing I noticed (again, I had to disable my adblockers) I added some smaller items I need onto each order, if the total was below my gc amount, the RC 5% disappeared. It's always been like this for me. no worries, I needed some stuff anyway. Now to wait on ebates and see what happens there with this.

So I got to one of the Gamestops right when they opened. There was just one person working. I grabbed 3 eBay cards, asked him to put $300 on each card and asked to sign up for the free version of the rewards program. He didn't bat an eyelash and started working on the transaction. While he was hand typing all 9 of the $100 digital gift card codes into the computer, we chatted about Overwatch (upcoming game from Blizzard). Got my cards and headed to the office.

Man, am I ever relieved. I will not be doing this again. It's just too dependent on who is working that day/time and if they start to better train employees on this "policy" then you really could be stuck with these gift cards.

The guy who rang me up today was probably the same person that I spoke with on the phone yesterday morning that said I could buy whatever I wanted with gift cards. Last night all of the stores were really busy and it seemed that each store had a senior manager working. The newer employees were happy to run the transaction until the senior manager type told them it wasn't allowed. So basically, this could work if you find someone less experienced, but I don't want to base my vacation savings on that.

Now if I had only gotten that 4x offer today.

I got the offer for the first time ever but on an interesting note it said on "qualifying items over $100" is this normal? I activated it and checked with a gift card but I have never seen anyone mention that before. Excited I finally got one though. About to takle my first jump into the churing pool.

I feel so left out! It took me several rounds of unsubscribing/subscribing to ebay emails before I got my first ebux offer in February. I think this is the first one that I have missed out one since then. I converted my Ebux ($335) to Ebay GCs a few days ago.

It really is an important part of the Gamestop churning process to know if your area will allow it or not before buying large amounts of GC. I have been to 4 different locations now and all 4 managers for the different locations have rung me up no problem.

Not just churning gift cards, but pretty much everything at Gamestop is YMMV. I've bought video games from GS to turn around and trade them back in at a higher trade in percentage just for them to charge me a "refurbishment fee" for scratches on the disc. For a game I just bought 10 minutes earlier! I usually just take the game back and trade it in at a different GS which will forego the small scratch on the disc, though.

Well, I definitely called all three stores in my area to inquire before I went ahead and purchased the gift cards. But yeah, probably should have started out with $25, not $900. I know better now. I still might redeem Bing points for Gamestop gift cards. If I end up with $25, not a big deal because I can always exchange it for a Chiptole gift card. I tried to point out the lack of sense is really makes for them to take physical cards, but not digital and to allow me to buy Shell or Chipotle cards, but not eBay or Amazon. Oh well.

I spent my ebucks yesterday for 4% EBates offer. I did not get an ebucks offer today.

I have some EBates cards still. I'll hold out until next week to see if there is an offer. Hopefully GCM restocks quickly!

With ebucks promos, you will be able to flip the same amount over in the same day since you will receive the gift card through email. In today's case, I've flipped through GameStop to still have my balance ready for tomorrow in case they drop a eBay bucks promo.

I broke down and decided to buy a $200 ebay card (free shipping) with $200 of my remaining ebucks. I opted for a physical card to be mailed. Last week I bought a $100 digital card. Now, I just have $18 ebucks remaining. If I don't get an offer before the end of the redemption period I will either get a $25 GS or Bestbuy card with it.

Hmm, I'm gonna download the app and see if it works. Seems odd it's on your app but not in the regular ebay account or email, but gives
me a little hope! Wonder if it matters if I'm just getting the app. Did you already have it?

I just started churning last month & only had $10 in ebucks; I did not get the offer today. I am soooooooo glad I used the Ebates offer yesterday (got $20 in ebates & $10 in ebucks I think)!

well, Target order came thru in about 1/2 hour- used at GCM no issues(as noted no 150's right now but I got some 100's and the 4% so not bad.... I still have an odd amount (less than $100 urgh) b/c I didn't want it to be a wash with ship costs etc for that bit.... will use later as I got the staples deal but they're physical so no go this time around.... did ebates for all and hope I get something there! (thanks to all who post here) on less than $400 churning saved 62.00 today!(I'm getting better at the spreadsheet thing lol)
