I could use any of those & I would have never thought of the starbucks cards for WDW. THat is a seriously good idea! While I was originally not into Starbucks @ WDW, I admit. My DH loved having it for a mid day pick me up. I'll won't ignore those anymore-lol!!!! #we don't treat ourselves to Starbucks @ home. I like the way you think!!!

This is us too! We don't drink starbucks at home, but enjoy it in the afternoons while at WDW!

Another data point here. I spent my Bucks earlier this month on my account -- got the offer today. We still haven't spent the Bucks on my wife's account -- she didn't get today's offer.

No offer for me.. womp womp.. I am glad I converted my Ebay Bucks to Ebay GC last week so now I can just wait it out for a good offer.

Almost did the 4% Cash back on Ebates yesterday, would've made about $60 total ($40 Ebates & $20 Ebay bucks) but I couldn't imagine doing it via my phone, without my spreadsheet, typing in my numbers on the Magical Express.. So yeah, skipped that one and I'm OK with it!

I hope some of you could take advantage of the 4x offer today!

I did get the offer on and old ebay account which we have deemed DH's account and use his paypal with. (Easier to keep it all separated in my mind.)

Using DH's account I ordered 3 - $150 gift cards and a fitbit that I have had my eye on as a present for DH. My total was $554.96,
3 x 150 = 450.00
shipping= 4.97
fitbit = 99.99

But I earned $38 ebucks. That is not 8% Any ideas?

On the subject of Starbucks..
Groupon often does the $5 for a $10 Starbucks gift card. Starbucks @ WDW accepts gift cards. My fiance doesn't drink coffee, I love it, but he found out this trip he really likes the passion iced tea lemonade. So we each got a Starbucks and used the $10 gift card but really only spent $5! Highly recommend!

Looks to me like you earned 8% on the gift cards and the normal 2% on the fitbit for some reason. I didn't get the offer, but did it exclude certain categories or anything??

Had ~$25 in eBucks, had not spent, did not get the offer. Oh well. I'll just wait for the next one... plenty of time before my next trip.

So I am currently stuck with $900 in GS gift cards. I had called my local store and was told that I could buy eBay gift cards with GS gift cards before I made the purchase. But once I actually got to the store, the employee would not run the transaction. He said they didn't allow it for digital gift cards, just physical cards. Called another store and asked, they said yes. Went to another store and same thing. Wouldn't let me do it once I arrived. Went to third store that said I could buy any other gift cards, just not eBay or Amazon.

So I am going to make another round of the stores this morning and hope that one of the employees will let me run this, but if not I figured out a backup plan. They did say I could buy Shell gas cards, which seem to be the highest value gift cards for resale that they have. I can sell the Shell cards to one of the reseller sites in exchange for eBay gift cards and retain 95% of the value of my cards. Which means that this GS churn would have been basically a wash after the 2% eBucks and the 4% eBates. But at least I won't be stuck with GS gift cards. Lesson learned and I will not be churning through GS again. My local stores are not friendly to the practice.

Hope you can find an employee who will let you buy ebay. This is why I was scared to do GS and after reading all the success stories, I was close to trying but your situation confirmed for me that I don't have the stomach for that. Let us know how it goes today.

So interesting thing happened to me this am when I was trying to convert target cards back to eBay. Using both my phone and iPad the target mobile and tablet sites only showed eBay avail as a $100 gift card that was currently unavailable for purchase. It also was showing all other specialty gift cards (Disney, southwest, Starbucks, etc) unavailable as well. So I broke out my laptop (which I don't regularly use) and going through that on the desktop website I was finally able to order eBay gift cards ($50, $100, and $200 showed as avail). Now just waiting for them to be delivered to my inbox.

Mine did the same thing. Could get them to show as available if I used my laptop.

So I got to one of the Gamestops right when they opened. There was just one person working. I grabbed 3 eBay cards, asked him to put $300 on each card and asked to sign up for the free version of the rewards program. He didn't bat an eyelash and started working on the transaction. While he was hand typing all 9 of the $100 digital gift card codes into the computer, we chatted about Overwatch (upcoming game from Blizzard). Got my cards and headed to the office.

Man, am I ever relieved. I will not be doing this again. It's just too dependent on who is working that day/time and if they start to better train employees on this "policy" then you really could be stuck with these gift cards.

The guy who rang me up today was probably the same person that I spoke with on the phone yesterday morning that said I could buy whatever I wanted with gift cards. Last night all of the stores were really busy and it seemed that each store had a senior manager working. The newer employees were happy to run the transaction until the senior manager type told them it wasn't allowed. So basically, this could work if you find someone less experienced, but I don't want to base my vacation savings on that.

Now if I had only gotten that 4x offer today.
