Disney Gift Card Deals

So following up on using eventually purchased Disney Gift Cards to pay for WDW hotel stays... so how do you actually do it online? My reservation in MDE (the app or website) shows my US WDW booking correctly, but I can't see a way to add payments (of any kind, not just gift cards) to it. I could have sworn I've made interim payments online before?

I bought mine last fall, before the price increase. I bought it at the ticket booth at the same time that I redeemed my AP voucher. Th CM didn't even blink.

Could you be over your $5,000 limit? I know they lifted the limit but if you used the card during the period of the limit it won't be good to use until AFTER the 6 months is over. This happened to me.

Did you book a package or room only? They won't let you pay online for room only except for the original payment.

I was finally able to use mine last week. My 6 months started on October 5th and I used mine on April 5th.

Yes, I have. Bought mine in November with GC. Used in November and January so far and one more trip planned in November. Great to get three trips out of it!

Update on my hotels .com GC from SVMGiftCards: I finally heard back from "corporate" and similar to @kidsfirsttrip, the GCs are on back order. Apparently, the eBay arm of the company has received so many emails, they are back logged on replying. Later I received an email from the eBay division and they said they would expedite shipping as soon as they come in or they would do a quick refund. I told them I would wait, I just wanted to know what was going on.

So, @TheDisneyDoll, if you decide to purchase these gift cards instead of Disney GCs for your stay on property at DLR, definitely buy them well in advance in case they are back ordered again in the future. It seems to be a hotels .com thing and not a problem with the seller. Also, wanted to add that you could consider a split stay - yes, it can be a hassle to move, but it may be worth it.

I have done split stays at Disney world, my trip next week is split among 3 resorts but I have my car so it'll be super easy.

I ordered hotels.com GCs trough PayPal Digital Gifts so they were e-cards. The codes were delivered within 30 minutes. You can go on hotels.com to combine GC balances. I just did it this morning, so easy!

Ah, mystery explained then, I'll stop wasting my time trying to work out how to do it. I have an AP, so it's a room-only booking. I guess I'll have to call them to apply Disney Gift Cards to the reservation then.

Yes, I will try to do at least that and hopefully I'll get to do more if they bring the $100 cards back soon! Hopefully they aren't just going to $50. I mean really, it seems it should be fairly easy to stock more $100 cards but who knows.

That's great! My last two outstanding orders showed today as well, but they, as well as the order that came Thur, still don't show as shipped. But they also answered two emails asking where things were that I sent on Wednesday. Only, they referred to order totals long ago delivered, not the actual orders I was waiting for, but used the current dates things arrived or were due to arrive. Very strange and didn't make any sense. Like they just pulled out a past order and then used dates from now, saying one arrived the 7th which it did, but the total amount was different, and then said one arrived today, which it did, but said it was a $1200 total instead of the actual $200 that was due to arrive.

Has anyone actually been paid from iConsumer yet?

I just started using iConsumer last month and quickly reached the $25 minimum for them to automatically send payment. They send payments out 90 days after you reach the $25 so I'm not expecting anything until at least mid June. Hopefully all goes well. I use both ebates and iConsumer currently. I found I was always credited through iConsumer for eBay purchases but eBay has a $20 limit per month through them. It's a crap shoot whether ebates credits for the ebay purchases we do here.

I finally got around to creating a spreadsheet for my churning. I've been churning GCs for well over a year now but decided to just document my savings starting with the first of this year. There's just too much data to enter and it took all afternoon to enter just Jan.-Mar. I add in my rewards and rebates from various programs (eBates, QMee, SB, Perk, ebay bucks...whatever I get for free that can be rolled into the churning process). With all of those taken into consideration, I've tripled the amount that I started with in Jan. (and that was from GCs that I got thru rewards at the end of 2015). I love being able to multiply my rewards money!

I bought some more eBay GCs from Target .com last night and had them in my email within 30 minutes and the eBates cash back was in my account 10 minutes later. I'm all set for the next bonus at eBay with just about half of my funds in Target GCs and the other half in eBay GCs/eBay bucks.

I think I found another way to churn...
I live in Michigan and one of the local big chain grocery stores is Meijer (it's in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky) . They currently have a gift card sale that gives you $5 off of $50 in gift card purchases. Add that to the current 5% back on grocery store purchases from my Chase Visa plus the standard 1%, and we're at an easy 11%!

I read last week's sale ad and thought that it was only for Meijer gift cards, so I bought a $50 one for $45, planning on just using it on my next trip to buy $50 worth of Target gift cards. Then I remembered that this quarter is the extra 5% back on grocery store purchases, so I thought I would just hang on to the Meijer gift card until next quarter and bought 2 $25 Target gift cards anyways. The clerk told me during check out that I got an extra $5 off due to the gift cards, but it wasn't clear if it was a BOGO sale or if it was because it was $50 worth of git cards... I can't find anything in today's ad or online about gift cards (the previous sale should have ended yesterday) so I am not sure if I'd get $5 off for 2 smaller gift cards or if the total must be $50, or if there is a limit per person. I will try again later in the week and let you know.

Hmmm, we don't have that gift card sale advertised here in IN. I did get a register coupon Thursday for $5 off a $50 purchase of Meijer gift card with mperks, so I got one of those, because I'm always happy to take $5 free. I get 6% back at grocery stores, so that's nice too. I've been twice since Thursday and didn't get a 2nd coupon.

next week target ad has buy two prepaid gift cards get a $5 target gift card free. it shows some gift cards, but says selection vary by store. so do not know if it works on disney or ebay. guess we need some volunteers on sunday

Has anyone tried today to see if this works on eBay or Disney gift cards? Just for giggles.........I'm pretty sure it only works for the cards pictured.

I ordered 2 $100 eBay cards and 2 $50 eBay from target today. Only one $50 was emailed to me. The others say preparing to ship. Never had that before. They have all come all at the same time when I have ordered before. Wonder if that means I may get them cancelled? If that happens does it usually happen quickly? I placed the order around 12:30 today.
