Disney Gift Card Deals

My calculated available was 787.81, although paypal would let you fudge a little (probably less than $15). I was just able to use 15 ebay codes to purchase 907.74

Good, so I guess the 8 codes per transaction isn't being enforced. The $1k limit is though (for me anyway).

Peeking in from work and seeing that the $5000 paypal limit being lifted is quite awesome! Only problem I already hit the $500 ebay bucks limit and my DD25's new acct doesn't have the 4x offer! Argh, for today's 4x promo! But, it will be great once April hits! Otherwise, my account was till late Aug! I even had a few cards I converted today to be ready for whenever, and $200 I hadn't used from last 5x deal since I hit my paypal and ebay bucks limit at that time.

I do wonder what their reason was for paypal dropping the rolling limit, though.

Me too, and I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't have any negative effects (i.e. eBay/Paypal manually looking at accounts that trip some unknown flags, similar to Target, resulting in limiting of one's PP account. That's one account I can't afford to lose since I get paid from my work through PP).

It seems Paypal Digital Gifts also lifted limits tied to the discount GCs they sell, so maybe eBay/PP is relaxing limitations all around.

Wow, I stepped away for a few hours and things get interesting. The potential of now being able to hit the $500 limit each quarter would be great. It would definitely allow me to maximize my earnings towards our next trip!

Yep, that $2k alone (without even accounting for saving via Target and rebate portals) would go a long way for paying for a Disney trip. Are there household limits? Can DH and I both get the $2k in Ebay bucks per year?

Yeah, that's a concern. I may have to mix it up with Best Buy and GameStop.

If being flagged as a reseller became an issue, I would consider just buying eBay cards directly in store and forego the extra 5%-7% savings. I would earn more from the eBay bucks with less effort. Maybe I would still buy some online, especially if I need quick turn over, but I could imagine that buying $20k worth of eBay cards in a year might raise some red flags.

Looks like the $5000 limit is definitely gone; I was able to do another order of 5 $150s from GCM. It might now be enforcing somewhere in the neighborhood of 8-12 cards, because I tried to get 6 $150 cards again and it had technical difficulties before I could enter the last 3 of my 15 ebay cards, so I just did 8 with the 5 $150s. So, I earned $132 ebay bucks I wouldn't have otherwise, plus I went through swagbucks for both orders :) Considering hitting the sears/kmart sale cards now lol

That concerns me as well. I may have to test those options with a small value gift card. I'm also considering buying some of my eBay GC in-store at Target rather than online. I know I won't get the 5%, but if it keeps me under the radar, it might be worth it. Especially since I'm doubling the amount of eBay bucks I can earn each year.

We just used the last of DS's PayPal limit yesterday and had three weeks to go before I could use my account, so this is making us rethink our entire strategy.

You know...

This is one of those rare situations that's actually gotten (overall) better with time. First, Target started selling $200 eBay gift cards, making life easier for larger purchases. Next, GCM upped their denominations so you could buy $150 gift cards, effectively reducing your shipping costs. Now, with the $5k limit removed, there's no need to be super picky about waiting for 5x deals, and your potential annual churn just doubled.

There have been some minor setbacks, such as Target getting finicky about allowing eBay GC purchases go through and eBay implementing per transaction limits (although this is somewhat rendered redundant by their $1k per transaction limit), but overall I'd say the trend is positive, which means, enjoy while it lasts!

I was fully at my $5k limit...in fact, they allowed me to go to $5,020 lol...and I had no money opening up until May. I just placed a $900 order and paid 100% with GC's!!!!!!!

This is awesome! And I agree with the Perfessor, this situation seems to only be improving. Makes me a little nervous as to why...

This correlates to my own experience. I had not received any ebay bucks promos on a new account for 2 weeks. I then ended up spending enough to cross the $5 threshold and the following week was eligible for a promo. Is it proof? No, could be coincidence, but it at least supports the theory.
Interesting, thanks for sharing that, PerfessorZ! Hoping it's a coincidence!

It is the gratifying feeling that I am saving thousands on my vacation that is allowing me to take multiple vacations....So that is $8,600 for the low cost of $3,780. That is $4,820 in savings or a 127% return on investment in 9 months.......
This is most definitely NOT the case. My wife opened a new account 4 weeks ago and has n't used it yet. She got yesterdays 4x offer.....
Wow, that's a great amount of savings, congrats! I got lost in the math, but looks great! Gotta figure mine out sometime here. Very interested to hear that about your wife's account. I remember you talking about opening her account when I asked you about opening another account and was wondering if you'd used it yet or gotten the promos offers! Now that I've definitely gotten DD25's account signed up now, I'm anxious to see the next promo to come out and hope to get it! If only I'd have gotten one there for the this 4x deal, I could have started her accounts getting some extra ebucks at the end of this quarter. Maybe next week if we're lucky!

So when I wasn't getting the offers I opened another eBay account. That account which I've never used has the 4x offer. Will eBay get suspicious if I use the second account? And are there any drawbacks besides having eBay bucks on two different accounts?
Hmm, another one that didn't need to buy something to get the offers started! Thanks for sharing, havaneselover!

Go to Targetecards.com
Enter in your order number
Your email address
and 00000 for the zipcode
If your order was not canceled, I am willing to bet you will see your card numbers there.

I've been having to get my ebay gift cards like this since maybe my second or third order of ebay gc's since I started churning in Jan. I've had to go to Targetecards.com every time I get my Target cards.

*Also, just a note, if you expect they should be there, and you are trying this link, and it doesn't work, try to put your own zipcode in, that should work. I've had maybe 2 or 3 times that the 00000 code didn't work, but my real zipcode did!

I just ordered my first batch of target cards from GCM . It says estimates delivery is 3/28. Do they take that long to ship out ?
Mine always come in at exactly one week.

I emailed them late Sunday night when I couldn't buy from their site for the $20 off the $100 deal, (I didn't try, but it had a note at the top that you had to be pre-approved to buy. She answered on Monday morning, said she didn't realize it was still there and she removed the pre-approval needed note.

That makes sense b/c I bought from them without a preapproval (from that same auction) so they had already lifted the limit at that time, I am guessing.

That is exactly what I was thinking.

I was thinking the same thing. Like recently I've been doing $600 and at 10% back that's $60.. It's not a bad place to start as opposed to Target or Raise or Cardpool.
