When does the $5,000 gift card limits reset for Ebay? Is it January and July or is each account different?

I'm trying to figure out if I'm getting close to my limit but I don't know when I should calculate from. Thanks .

I just found how to check the balances of all the gift cards associated with an account. It wasn't obvious how to get there, but a Google search did the trick.

The crux of it is to go to Profile -> My Money -> Gift Cards and Discounts

You may have to "Log in with PayPal" to get to the old school view.



ETA: Oops. @pillow posted a suggestion already. That's what I get for taking too long to research everything.

i did go to eBay and read the terms it doesn't say anything about the $5000 limit. Just the $1000 per purchase.

I see there's a $1,000 and 8 gift cards limit per transaction. If it's a hard limit, you're going to need some $200 gift cards to maximize spending per transaction.

From the comments I have read it looks like people have tried and been unable to use more than the 5k limit so far. Maybe I will read more and better news.

Hi from Castle Rock (about 45 minutes north of PDX if you aren't familiar). We don't have an K-Marts where I am at. There is one about 30 minutes north heading towards Seattle but I am too big of a chicken to try it. I also have never tried Gamestop either when those deals come up.

But if there's no 5K limit there would be no harm combining your smaller giftcards to make a larger ebay giftcard. This is great news!!!!!

That clause was part of the old terms and conditions as well, if I remember correctly. It just wasn't enforced.

OMG! OMG! I just hit my $5,000 limit today (assuming my math is good). I'm too afraid to convert more of my Target to Ebay and have it tied up till August. Anyone close to their rollover date willing to try it out for us?

My final numbers are $1103.32 free $$$ since 2/18 after converting rewards into Target and converting all Target into Disney (minus a few SB and MP rewards that haven't been confirmed yet). Would love to add to it!
