I've been having to get my ebay gift cards like this since maybe my second or third order of ebay gc's since I started churning in Jan. I've had to go to Targetecards.com every time I get my Target cards.

*Also, just a note, if you expect they should be there, and you are trying this link, and it doesn't work, try to put your own zipcode in, that should work. I've had maybe 2 or 3 times that the 00000 code didn't work, but my real zipcode did!

I don't get this, why do you need to go to this site? Is it if your eBay purchase is hung up/not processing from Target?

Sometimes the email Target sends you when your e-gift card is ready gets lost in the interwebs. When that's the case, you can go to this website to retrieve the e-gift card.

I have an ebay account and don't remember ever getting extra ebay buck offers. The acct is pretty old. I tried a few times over the last two days to change my offers settings but the 4x offer never popped up for me. I'd prefer not to open a new account, what else can I do?

I have earned and used ebay bucks before but probably not over $5 as I usually just buy small stuff on ebay.

I think both my orders of target giftcards from last night shipped early this morning (both with UPS tracking and signature delivery, although that doesn't mean it won't switch over to the post office) and are scheduled for delivery Monday I was a little worried they would run out and cancel my order....

My older, original eBay account rarely, if ever gets the offers. I made a new account and that account has gotten every single offer since I created it a few months ago so it is now the account that I use exclusively to earn eBay bucks. I still use my other account for selling items.

Curious---Will the PayPal limit being lifted change your thought process on how you order?

I don't think mine will but I'm doing this on a much smaller scale than many of you. I wasn't sure I'd even meet the 6 month limit but have enjoyed following this thread & learning from everyone.

For me, probably not. I currently am "churning" $600 in gift cards. I'm expecting about $450 between Ebates and Ebay bucks next month (I earned quite a bit of Ebates with some hotel stays and online purchases outside of just gift cards). So that will up me to over $1,000. I will probably keep 2 separate sets of gift cards, one Ebay and one Target, so that I can take advantage of offers like bonus Ebay bucks.

So while before, I would have only been able to go through Ebay a few more times, now I can do it as many times as I want. I'm not in a hurry or anything so I'll still wait around for good bonus Ebay bucks deals.

Yes, I was only going to go for 5x offers, now I will likely go for any offer (although I will do Kmart for 2x or 3x, since I don't find below 4x to be that great with Target because of shipping). Since I can spend more ebay cards, it won't matter as much how I get to $500 ebay bucks in a quarter. I don't think I can hit $500 this quarter, though, because I am only at 225, getting another 275 in the next 15 days seems pretty unlikely. I was hoping to be able to do a 3 day cruise next summer, and the removal of the cap is making it seem much more likely

If someone hits $500 in eBay bucks quarter after quarter, do you suppose that person will stop getting bonus offers? Just considering any possible downsides.

Wow. I've been reading through this thread for the past couple of hours. Thanks for all the great information.

I've always been flipping games at Gamestop to get free video games with trade in promotions, but I never would have thought to flip gift cards with the ebay bucks promos. I signed up yesterday with my account and also just finished my application with the Redcard, I never really thought to get one of those until I started reading through this thread. Hopefully I'll start getting the promos sooner than later. Trip is in August.

Thanks for all the great info guys!!! I have been slowly building my giftcard stash with only 2x bucks. I don't have much built up yet, but can I then use the bucks to buy more gift cards? It will certainly have an impact on how people shop. An impact that they can't avoid even. Many people held out for 5X before... this maximizes the consumer payout and minimizes the Ebay profit (they are paying out 10% in bucks and making maybe 12% on the sale). Now with the volume unlimited, we will likely see fewer 5X promotions. This is my guess. So now people will be more willing to "settle" for 3X or 2X. The more people that settle for 2X and 3X, the fewer 5X Ebay has to run. Ebay makes a higher profit on each sale... and more sales. Win-win for them.

Consumer goal is to make the same amount as before, but they have to churn twice now to make the same amount of money. Twice the churns is twice the profit for Ebay. Although it seems great at first glance and everyone is rejoicing, I am not convinced this is "better" ~ for us. I was making $500/quarter before. I'll still make $500/quarter. But I'll have to do more work now with higher volume and lower margin.

Ebay has squeezed a bit of the juice away from the consumer and into their own cup.

I stopped using them over a year ago when I realized I can get the same or better discount by using my Amex Blue Cash Preferred card at my grocery store for 6% cash back plus fuel rewards. Plus I know the cards are clean.

I stopped about 9 months ago. I get enough Target GCs through rewards programs to fund my churning. No need to spend money for more.

You can use your eBay Bucks to purchase anything on eBay, including gift cards. You'll even earn eBay Bucks while spending your eBay Bucks, just as you would with any other form of payment.
