Disney Gift Card Deals

I just did it last week and didn't have a problem.

It was posted today but she was talking about using the 20% coupon, so she could not have been shopping any later than Saturday, when the coupon expired. Other posters on that same thread have stated that they had no problem combining the pharma5 and REDCard5 discounts for purchasing Disney GCs recently.

It sounds like she drew attention of a manager by trying to purchase $3K worth of GCs with the 20% coupon, plus pharma5. I'm guessing the manager told her no to all of the discounts without even attempting to ring the pharma5 coupon up. It doesn't need to be pushed thru. It just takes 5% off of all eligible items.

I hope you're right. I've only seen two reports, a "last week" and "the other day." I'll be glad to hear more recent reports.

maybe I'm misunderstanding but they way I read it is I should get a Target pharm 5% coupon simply by signing up an online account? I did this a few weeks ago but nothing. am I wrong?

Yes, you should get the coupon. They've been running that promo for a while now. I signed up back in October - can't remember exactly when my coupon arrived. I want to say it took a couple of weeks??

If the catalina type coupons (8 on 80) are no longer working on Disney GC, I think our good old days are over, even if they come up with a FB coupon - chances are it won't work.

Someone clearly noticed this last year and fixed the hole. Remember two years ago the coupons worked on Target gift cards so most were simply doing that instead...

At BJs when you spend $100, a coupon prints out for $10 off your next $100 purchase. Gift cards are NOT listed as an exclusion. Thinking of buying $100 of Disney cards (cost is $95, then buying something else for $5.) Then turn around and keep repeating. Anyone try this? Is it dumb?

We got a $5 off $50 purchase coupon at BJs and bought a $100 gift card. $95 - $5 -$3 coupon we had previously gotten on the bottom if our receipt last time..

$88 for a $100 giftcard. Not bad.

I received an email from Kroger this morning about a new promotion - "12 days of gift card deals."

It appears that Disney gift cards will be on sale next Wednesday, 12/18. Today's deal is for Itunes cards ($4 off $40 pack). The email doesn't state how much the Disney gift cards will be discounted, but I'm assuming it will be similar to the Itunes deal. With this promo, you download the coupon to your Kroger card on the designated day, and then you have a designated window during which you can use your coupon (usually 2-3 weeks).

You can partner this with Kroger's 2x fuel points to save a little more. It will be interesting to see how much the cards will cost on 12/18. If anyone can figure that out in advance, please report back.

Just want to make sure I understand this - I should be able to use the 5% redcard & 5% pharm rewards, correct? Also, what denominations do they usually carry - when I last checked, my Target only had $25 cards. It will take quite awhile to buy all those & use them for a trip, I'm hoping to find a larger denomination.
