How long until purchases show up on iconsumer?

I made a purchase Thursday afternoon and had an e-mail the next morning

Do you churn as soon as you got the eBay and target cards or do you wait for a good deal? I've never received any promos for eBay in all these years. I did go in and check to receive emails but still nothing.

I wait for deals now. In November & December last year, there was eBay bucks deal a week. So far this year, there's been one in all of January.

If I didn't get offered any deals, I'd probably just space it out to about $800 worth a month to keep right inside the $5,000 per rolling 6-month window limit that eBay has.

Ok I hate to complain but this is ridiculous!! I just now get a message from Gift Card Mall about my purchase on Jan 26th. I would assume the cards were in stock since I was able to add them to my cart. Here is their reply:

Mine said Feb 3rd but after 3 days and not shown shipped I desided to contact them. Only then did they leave the email you just read. Funny thing is I can still add the $150 GCs in my cart!! I sent them another email asked to send what ever nomination they have equalling what I bought. We will see if they respond. If they are going to make you pay instantly then they should ship instantly. If not then they should not charge you until they ship.

Good question. I'm not sure but I'm skipping ebates given the reports of banning.

Even though they had an inventory of the exact same GC on ebay at the time, they refused to send me what I had ordered. And ebay sided with them. I got my money back on my GC but the value of the ebay coupon was lost.

They "canceled" my ordered but never advised me that they had done so, nor had they refunded my ebay GC for the amount that they had taken. It was only after I contacted them about my missing Target GCs that they informed me that the order had been canceled. Even though they had an inventory of the exact same GC on ebay at the time, they refused to send me what I had ordered. And ebay sided with them. I got my money back on my GC but the value of the ebay coupon was lost.

That is pretty rotten!!! I paid with Ebay GCs so hoping that is not why. If that is the case I think I am done churning with Gift Card Mall. This will be the second issue I have had with that company.

I admit that I can't read all 482 pages of this thread, so I am hoping someone is willing to please sum up a few things.

1) How do you get the Ebay offers? I have only seen them like twice. Where do you find them, or is there something you do to get them?

2) How does the churning thing work? I have been buying on raise, then on target to get my Disney gift cards...but it sounds like there is an option for a better discount?

For my personal comfort, I will stop going through ebates when I purchase gift cards but will definitely go through them to purchase anything else that qualifies from Target.

The reason why the gift cards can be a problem is because they are not eligible for cash back but someone discovered a 'loop hole'. If you add an eligible item (like a ruler), then you get cash back for the gift cards too.

I have answered numerous questions for others on here that have been answered over and over. I wouldn't have asked if I hadn't already tried reading through this thread and numerous others and tried searching. I only found lots of talking about it but not the actual process. 1. I'm assuming you're referring to eBay Bucks offers? Unfortunately, there is no guaranteed formula to get them. If you want to get them and aren't currently, go to My eBay > Account > Communication Preferences > Promotions and Surveys. I have the first four boxes checked there to be safe, but I think the only one that matters is "General email promotions." If you already have that checked and you're not getting eBay Bucks offers, uncheck it, save that, and check it + save again. I had to do that a handful of times over the course of several weeks until I finally got them.

You also need to make sure you are enrolled for eBay Bucks, which you do here: eBay Bucks Rewards Enrollment.

You won't know if it "worked" until you actually get an eBay Bucks offer email, so it's really a guessing game.

2. It's difficult to answer that question because we all have our own methods and everyone really uses different elements to piece the puzzle together - there is no right answer (or even 3 or 4). If you could give a little more information about exactly what your process is, that would be helpful in being able to give an answer about what you're missing.

Based on what you've stated, it sounds like you buy Target gift cards from Raise, and then use those Target gift cards to buy Disney gift cards (in store or online)?

If that's the formula you're comfortable with, these are the things I would add:

1. Get cash back on your Raise gift card purchases by going through a cash back website that supports Raise like TopCashBack (TCB).
2. If you're not buying your Disney gift cards online from Target, you may want to consider doing so via the Red Card method.
3. Use a cash back website (with a filler item added) to get cash back on your Disney gift card purchase from Target.

I don't think @Marionnette's intention was to offend or insult. I've never seen anyone here balk at answering a specific question. Although I do not think you intended it that way, your question came across more as "explain the method" than "can you help me with this one aspect?" If you have any specific questions about any of these steps, I'm sure one of us here would be happy to help.

Me too. I'll use ebates for Target, but I'm not throwing a glue stick in to get ebates on $300 of gift cards again.
