I just used my target groupon to get a disney gift card. But I couldn't get MDE to take it as payment. Which number on the gift card am I supposed to input? Thanks.

May I ask how this is done?
I went online & saw that Target sells $50 Groupon cards for $25. Great savings!

I don't think you can. I would think the Groupon gift card can be used to purchase Groupon deals.

The only Groupon deal I've seen for Target gift cards, was $5 for a $10 mobile gift card you used on your phone at checkout.

Concerning the target redcard discount with gift cards; does anyone know if that works for the redcard that is a credit card or is it just the debit card. We have the credit card and want to take advantage but did not know if you were excluded from buying a gift card with a credit card. TIA!

I have been successful saving 5% on the Disney gift cards with my Target Redcard Credit Card.

I haven't confirmed it yet, but it appears you can buy $30 Disney Gift Cards for $27 at the Texas Grocery Store H-E-B using this coupon:

My work internet connection will not even let me print the coupon. I'll print it from home to get the fine print. Has anyone tried it yet?

10% off Disney is nice. I always still hold out for the late November/early December Yellow coupons which give bigger savings.

I did use this at HEB for a $30 Wdw gift card, the manager did have to do some override to make it work.

I just went on Target.com and the Groupon card costs $25 and is good for $25 only on Groupon - it just says you can save 50% off of things on their site -NOT THAT YOU CAN buy a 25$ card and get 50$ on Groupon - DARN IT! But "When it sounds too good to be true...chances are..."

Just bought $1200 worth of Disney Gift cards and used Redcard and Pharmacy rewards certificate. Saved $112.00! Then went to the Disney store and bought our tickets. Same price as online but no shipping. Also called and paid off our room with them!

Totally a personal question - and please feel free not to answer, if any Target associates are reading this. What is the team member discount? Just wondering if it's worth it to take a part time job there for a few months while amassing gift cards for an upcoming trip? Again, please forgive the question if it's too rude.

Sorry, I just saw this now! The discount is only 10%. It's pretty much tax for most purchases around here (not Disney cards, those are tax free). Personally, I don't feel it's worth it for that purpose, but to each his own! The best time to do that would be during the Christmas season. That's usually the only time stores are hiring seasonal staff.

No problem. Glad it worked. I am not going to WDW any time soon, so I just used all our family's coupons for multiple $3 offs on groceries and Chick-Fil-A gift cards. The manager override is needed for any gift cards, but it's not a problem as it's allowed. The coupon expires tomorrow night.

In the future, you can get a little discount on tickets online. For WDW, the mousesavers.com newsletter/undercover tourist option is easy and saves you around 6% if I recall correctly. Free shipping at that site too. For DLR, there are a few good sites for smaller discounts (getawaytoday, etc.). And of course, if anyone in your family works for or has retired from a Disney Parks affiliated company (a company that sponsors an area or a ride, for instance), you usually can get a sizeable discount. I work for IBM, who sponsors an area in EPCOT. We get 12% off tickets at WDW and 10% at DLR. Even retired IBMers get that.

If the employee discount stacks on top of the $10 Target Gift Card when spending $50 promotion and 5% RedCard discount, you could get a $50 Disney Gift Cards for essentially $34.20 (31.6% off) instead of the $38 (24%) normal RedCard customers can get them.

The math behind that: you'll buy the $50 Gift Card, apply the $10 Target Gift Card from the previous transaction to get the price to $40, swipe your RedCard to get it to $38, and apply your employee discount to get to $34.20, and be given another $10 Target Gift Card. Not sure that is exactly the order, so it might be off by a few cents, but the discount is nice.

Do you know if you buy the tickets using the IBM discount, can you use gift cards to pay for them? I know you can't pay that way buying from UT or the YES program. I was just wondering if the IBM tickets are actually purchased directly from Disney using the discount link.
