Disney Gift Card Deals

4 of any denomination, correct? That is, your order could be 4 $50s and 4 $100s?
No, you can only order 3 $100 Disney gift cards at one time.
So, your order could be 4 $50 Disney gift cards plus 3 $100 Disney gift cards.

I have been doing the same! I have been buying markers, colored pencils, erasers, pens & pencils and *the* ruler lol.

I placed a non-gift card order from Target on Thursday and that credited. Also, a few non-Target orders have credited.

Were the gift cards Disney gift cards with a delayed shipping date? I noticed I never get my Ebates until I get the "a package is headed you way" email. I know they don't charge your card until they ship, so the Ebates might not go through until it ships either. Just a thought.

Actually, none of those orders were for Disney. They were Southwest emailed cards, eBay emailed or Target emailed...What is weird though is that the last one, which was a Target emailed (I was combining small cards) credited on ebates today. BUT, it's been over 24 hours and the Target gift card has not been emailed (order says 'processing'). So, I may have to cancel that one. Not going to bother with ebates on it. I just need the gift card!

I did place an order for Disney gift cards earlier today when they came back in stock. Ebates has not credited that order yet but it seems like it takes awhile these days.

Although I am very very new at this I thought this may help some of you guys. I just recently started going through Ebates. At times it seems my cash back from a transaction takes a few days to process. I started to get worried and did some investigation work. if you go to the top and click on help it give you several options. One of those options is labeled "Where is my Cash Back." If you click on that option it allows you to enter information about your purchase and then documents the cash back right away. I have even forgotten to go through Ebates first and added the information and they still have documented my cash back. Hope that helps.

I've used this in the past when I didn't get credit for a purchase that should have been covered. But I'm reluctant to use it when I have an order that's mainly gift cards with a small eligible item that I threw in to trick Ebates into paying cashback. Since gift cards are excluded from Ebates through Target, I don't want to call attention to that glitch for fear that they'll figure out a way to close that loophole.

I know I'm behind here because I've been off the board for a couple weeks but now that the Target app won't let you combine gift cards, is the only option to use smaller amounts to purchase a larger gift card on Target's website? That seems ridiculous to have to keep using several small ones to purchase a larger one until you get it large enough to do something with. What am I missing?

You can visit customer service at your local Target store and they will combine your small GCs onto a single, larger one if you would rather not deal with the online hassles.

I have been watching Raise for a few weeks now, and the numbers seem to stay steady right around 6% off, give or take a percent. What is the highest percentage off anyone has purchased a giftcard? Or what is your "magic number" that you purchase at? I got one the other day at 6.5 % and thought that was pretty good. Thanks!!

Giftcardzen has some $2,000 Target gift cards for 10% off right now.

Thanks for sharing, horse11! Wondering about your last comment on forgetting to go thru Ebates first and adding info later. How did you go about doing that? I ordered something from Amazon a few weeks ago and, of course, forgot to go thru Ebates. I'm pretty new to ebates and it's still not just an automatic habit to open it up, lol. So, if possible to do so, I'm wondering how to add the info to hopefully get some cash back! TIA! :)

You can try but I have tried this a couple of times years ago and was always denied since there was no tracking ticket. Never hurts to ask though. You would just submit all the same info you normally would for a missing cash back claim.

There is a direct correlation on Raise to the discount to the amount of time a card stays available. Therefore it becomes an effort game of how much time do you want to spend hitting refresh and staring at a computer screen. The average top on the board also changes over time. It will peak at around 7 to 7.5 during some periods of the year where demand is very low. They will be 1% or even completely sold out on periods that are very high demand. 6.5 is not a bad average top % to see on top of the board. If you spend a little more time watching, it is not hard to get them over 7% even with casual effort. They just won't sit at 7% at current demand level so the most a 7% will sit is probably 10 minutes. Higher then 7% gets to be a little more challenging. 8%+ cards went up fairly regularly last week (Maybe 20 - 40 a day just a guess but I am sure I am underestimating), however they will not stay for more than 5 minutes. Most are gone within 1 minute of posting. 10%+ cards appear to post maybe 5-10 times a day(again a bad underestimation), and are bought within 30 seconds. It becomes a refresh and click race. I have a second computer at work that allows me to spend periodic time checking and therefore I set my limit at 9%. The top % I got last week was 17%. That is the highest percentage on a Target card I have ever bought from Raise. Finally the posting of new cards is not a constant activity. It is not unusual for 30 minutes to go by with no posting changes around the top and then a flurry of 5-10 new ones over the span of 10 minutes. I have found the best success between 3-5PM EST on weekdays.

One other note, volume is a huge factor as well. If you need a high volume and you have only a very limited time, you have to settle for a lower percentage to get the amount you need. If you need a small volume and have an extremely long period of time you can be pickier. With my limit of 9%, I was only able to purchase 8 gift cards since January 1st despite a decently large effort spent watching. The total value of that purchase was less than $500.

You might want to check the categories that Ebates is giving for Amazon purchases these days. It is not on all purchases, and fairly limited categories. The normal stuff I buy rarely fits in the categories that Ebates is rebating on Amazon. No sense in going to the trouble of asking them to credit something they wouldn't have done so even if you had remembered before the purchase.

I have not gotten ebates on my eBay order for an eBay GC though. I wonder if it's because the eBay GC that I used to pay is listed as a coupon, so my order total shows as $0. I put in a ticket with ebates since on there it asks for order subtotal, which was $195. So we'll see if I get it.
I got a response from eBates customer service on this - they do not give credit for purchases of eBay GC's on eBay. So even though "Gift Cards" is one of the cash back categories for eBay, eBay GC's are excluded. Just an FYI for anyone who didn't know this. I wonder if you purchase an eBay GC and other items in the same order if it would credit. I will probably never have a reason to try this out, but if anyone does let us know!

It also seems that lower value cards come in at the higher rates. I wanted to minimize the work involved in combining cards so I also tried to find cards that were $50+.

One trick I found that worked for me was to use a browser with extensions and use an auto-refresh extension. I had mine set to 5 seconds in the background and even then I'd still miss out on some of them by the time I hit checkout.

I have found topcashback does usually pay cash back on eBay gift cards bought off eBay.

I signed up for TopCashBack a while ago but have never used it. I've been using eBates for a long time so I just automatically go there. I will check out TCB next time!

I'd been using Swagbucks during the holiday season for my eBay purchases. I was getting 2% back at the time, but the delay before it becomes available was fairly long - I think around 75 days. I forgot to try to get SB when I bought an eBay GC, so I don't know if SB credits them or not.
