Good to know. I go the Kroger route but that definitely makes the raise route attractive.

I have been getting the 2% through TCB. I use Kroger some also but we just cannot use as many fuel rewards so raise gets my business also. I also do not have the AmExp blue card yet. We refi'ed our house recently so I've been waiting to apply.

Are you buying eBay cards? Try setting up a new target account with a different email. I did it in my DH's name but put in my red card. I had multiple orders with my original account canceled but the new account went through. Wondering if my original account has been flagged.

So, I created an account in my dh's name, a different email, and my Redcard. I ordered a $200 eBay, $100 eBay and a $15 shirt one of my dd's wanted. I tried to have some of it on my Redcard but it was giving me an error on the payment so I applied another giftcard that covered the entire purchase. It went through then but was canceled. I just don't get it!!

What denomination of eBay are you able to order? I've not been able to order a $200 yet.

I haven't tried to order the$200 Ebay gift cards from Target yet. But, most of my $100 gift card orders do get canceled. The $50 orders usually go thru ok.

Like CNMJ suggested, use that Target gift card to purchase a Disney one online. If you have your Redcard set as a default payment, you will save an additional 5% on the Disney card.

You can also save a little more by going through topcashback.com before you purchase the gift card from Raise. They pay 2% in cashback. Also, whatever credit card you use should net you at least 1% back. So, at a minimum, you can save 14%.

I placed an order with 3x $200 eBay cards last week and the order came through fine and was delivered within a few hours. I used those cards for the 3x eBay bucks promo and had no issues.

I finally managed to convert enough Target GCs to eBay GCs, but now I'm nervous there won't be any eBay Bucks bonuses anytime soon. I need to convert back to Target, then to Disney by early February, and if eBay doesn't run any promotions during the first 3 weeks in January, I'll have to convert back at basically face value. Still hopeful that they do 1 more before the new year, but I'm definitely not as confident as I was.

PS, FWIW, I eventually was able to purchase $200 eBay GCs, but it took 3 or 4 tries in different configurations, and I started out with a few $100s.

If I bought a target gc on Raise at 6% discount, then bought a dis gc at Target (redcard) saving 5%, if the dis gc was valued at 100, the actual cost for a 100 gc would end up at 89, making it an 11% discount? and if I managed to get any rebate action on one of those sites also, it might end up being a percent or so savings overall?

I like using $100 as an example because its easiest to comprehend. I agree wholeheartedly on calculating backwards to determine what you need to purchase from Raise to get your end result as close as possible.

One tiny correction... the 2% Ebates discount would be on the $95, not the $100, so your rebate would be $1.90, not $2.00.

Yes. Thanks for the correction. I think I had too late a night last night. So with this new math, the total would be $87.40 and the total discount is 12.6%. Apologies!

I *finally* got an order to go through and it was for a $200. I used the mobile site on my ipad mini. I never order anything that way and just use my laptop for shopping. But I decided to try it and it worked! I have more I need to convert but I have to combine some smaller gift cards first so will attempt it later. So, just wanted to suggest trying the mobile site if you haven't already.

Using the recent 10% Target Gift Card sale + raise + 5% redcard discount on Dis cards + Ebates on my Target order, I was able to save 18.6% on Disney Cards for an upcoming Disneyland trip. Pretty happy with that since I didn't even think aobut it until the day before the Target 10% deal ...

If you get Target GC's from any rewards programs you can really maximize your savings. I don't do nearly as many rewards programs as some people on here do, but I had $30 in Target GC's from mPoints saved up when the 10% off Target GCs deal came up. I used my $30 in free cards towards the purchase of a $300 card, so with the 10% off I ended up getting a $300 GC for $240, or 20% savings. I tried buying eBay cards with that when they had the 3x bucks but I couldn't get the order to go through, so I still have my $300 Target card. I almost have enough in MyPoints for a $50 GC so once I cash out for that I'll add it to my stash for when the next deal comes up. I probably won't bother with buying a small item just to possibly get 2% in ebates; it's easier to keep track of if the GCs stay in even amounts.

You can blame that one on me lol!! My first time trying the EBay gift card churning. I have $400 of EBay GC waiting for 3x, 4x or 5x. Our trip is not until May though.

Very early Sunday morning I ordered $300 eBay gc's with my target cards I got in the 10% deal the previous week. I received them just fine. So late Sunday night, early Monday morn I ordered the rest, another $300 in ebay gc's at target. So far all I got was an email saying my order was coming, should be in 4 hours it says, but I haven't received anything yet, but checking my online account at target, it says delivered! At first I was trying to be patient waiting , then checking through my whole aol mail account and they just aren't there, never received. With work, I haven't been able to call during regular hours to try to get this figured out. I'm hoping they'll be able to tell that I never received them and be able to resend them! I wasn't too worried at first but now I'm getting pretty worried. I'm planning on calling tomorrow afternoon to target customer service and hoping they can help me! Anyone had this happen to them and it worked out?

Don't bother with the email alerts. I NEVER get them in time to purchase. In fact... I purchased a 9% off gift card on Raise by chance, and had the gift card in my inbox before I got my alert. You really just have to be on Raise at the right time to score high discount cards.

What I am using the alerts for is notice that the average discount of available GC is higher. When all the Target GC were 3-4% I got very few notifications, now that they are in the 6-7% range I get a lot more.

Hmm, well I guess you are probably right about that lol, as I think more about it, lol. And you're right, it may show when the discounts are higher so keep a watch then.

I've begun working ebates into the mix... how long does it take for the rebate to show up in your account. I've made two purchases but my balance is still $0.

I noticed either they showed up pretty quick or they never showed up, lol. Twice I cancelled my target order when they didnt show up, then reordered and they showed up. One of them also showed up from the order I cancelled but I expect that to be cancelled eventually.

I know you have to be invited and so far I have.I also know you have to click on the offer but beyond that I have never used it. Do they give that option to pay with a gift card when you pay through Pay Pal? Just want to be prepared.
