Anyone know if I sign up for the Redcard Debit card online if I can use it online tomorrow or do I have to wait for the card to be shipped to me and be approved?

I applied for the red debit card online and was able to use it right away online. I had to wait for the physical card before I could use in store.

I just bought $4200 worth of target gift cards in-store and got the 10% discount on all of them. They were all purchased $300 at a time with the same credit card.

My Plan started out with visiting 2 stores near me. I also brought a hat and another jacket. I had 2 credit cards that I could use. I figured I could go to one then the other change and do it again and then get another online.

I arrived exactly as the 1st store opened and immediately went to the register. Then went to 2nd store and they had the 4 self checkout registers but was manned by a worker. After buying the 2nd, I went into the store to get something I needed and then was going to try another register. They were all long lines. So I went to the self checkout and was able to get another $300 card. Total of $900 so far.

I went out to the car to drop off the item I bought and was planning to go back to the first store. I said screw it. I will go back in and buy as many as they will let me get before someone says something.

So I went back in and grabbed one off the rack and went to the self checkout registers. Bought that one and went back to the rack to get another. This way, I was not holding up the lines buying a dozen cards one at a time. $1500 so far.

On the next one, the worker manning the self checkout registers came up to me and I thought that this was it. She said 'You can buy all them in one transaction. You don't have to buy one at a time.' So I asked if I would get the 10% on all them. She looked perplexed and said she didn't know about the discount and watched me ring it in so she could see the discount. She was amazed.

Then she started asking why I was buying so much. I knew I was in the clear to buy all I wanted. I then told her why and about the additional 5% discount online. She was amazed and left me be.

I have all I need now to pay for my maintenance fees, flight down, and spending money.

I might buy more from Raise.com if the discount gets better than 12% and get ahead for next year.

Did you buy a bunch of 300$ cards then? I'm curious if you could get them in higher denominations. Thanks

Surely they cant cancell them out after they have sent the codes to ya?

I did two separate transactions this morning with two accounts. Worked like a charm with raise gift cards

Just got back from Target...a little crazy in there but was able to purchase 3 x$300 at a self checkout...sure is quicker and the deal worked. I was going to attempt another but my credit card would have flagged as fraud alert. I have enough now to cover my dues and some food money for January's trip. I assume Disney cards will be sold out rather quick tomorrow.

I did two separate $280.00 transactions, in two different accounts, with two different physical addresses online too. One of them is for our travel expenses. The second account is owned by the friend who is traveling on DCL with us. I did them around 3AM EST, but, the mobile and emailed cards weren't delivered until 11:30AM EST. I couldn't add the cards to the Target accounts online. When I tried I got a message back saying I couldn't add the card, because the balance was zero. I'll wait to add them tomorrow and order our Disney cards then.

Thanks for posting about adding a small item to trigger eBates. My eBates money for the transaction I did in my account has already been added to my eBates account.

Whew! I bought $4500 in two different targets in the Dallas area. I am debating on just going straight to buying Disney cards online for 5% off or attempting the eBay thing. I have never done anything with eBay. Yay! So glad I got the savings!

Correct...I plan on holding out for a couple weeks so those that may need them sooner can get them. I need mine for end of January.

If you were going to buy with the Target cards you just purchased, they won't be active until tomorrow.

I just ordered $300 worth and will be ordering my DGC online once my code shows up (using the redcard as my default payment to save 5%) I just love the community on here! I used the information on here a few weeks ago when they had the buy 2 DGC get $5 target cards to pay for most of my room with what I had saved at the time! I wish I had more money now but it sounds like they will be doing this again next year so I'll stock up then before my trip in January 2017. For now this will get me enough to pay the balance on my room and add memory maker before the price goes up. Thanks for the tips!

I explained that I had done it before. She called the manager over (meanwhile I'm holding up the express lane - sorry people behind me!). The manager says nope. I told him there was nothing in the fine print that excludes it. He told me that it's their "policy" for the special promotion and he wouldn't do it. He said it's "money laundering" and it was a "policy." I asked to see the policy. He said that he didn't have it but that it was "on the website." I gave up and gave him my credit card number. Came home and ordered another $300 online using another email address I have with guest check out. Hopefully it works. How frustrating.

Wow! That's pretty insulting to be accused of money laundering. Ugh. Again, it drives me nuts how inconsistent Target is with its policies.

I have never know Target to let you buy a Target gift card with another Target gift card. Their policy is that you can't use Target gift cards to buy any gift cards. Disney cards are entertainment cards and bypass the system. You were lucky you could do it the last time.
