Now they have a shipping charge on those Target physical gift cards. They use to ship for free. It'd be nice if they sold the Target egift cards.

Which Target GC's are you talking about? You can buy either physical or egift cards on Target.com and both ship for free.

I think they normally do. When GCM has a sale, they waive the shipping.

In the mobile target website, go to "my mobile gift cards".

Sign in with your mobile phone number and PIN.

Click a card you would like to combine.

When the card details pop up, click on the name you gave the card.

Change the name to something new.

Click "save"

The "Combine" button now appears.

Can someone help me with Target's mobile site? I have 3 gift cards loaded into the app, but when I try to check out, I still have to manually enter the numbers, as well as the access code. I don't have the physical cards anymore for the access code. Help!!!!

I have a suspicion as to why combining is no longer allowed... I think their system was hacked again recently. A few weeks ago I noticed that the card I had in my account that I use to combine cards was "force closed." They said that a mobile number had "mobilized" my card (in their account) and then transferred the amount on it ($8, but still) to another card..and then another...and then another. There is no recourse for this without a police report, unfortunately, and I really didn't want to waste my time for $8 (which is probably why the hackers choose cards with low balances.)

I honestly think they're removing the option to prevent future customer losses.

Uggghhh....the combine option is now gone for me on the mobile website. I tried on my phone and on my laptop. This is going to really screw with Raise, etc purchases for me. I don't always use those Target gift cards right away. Now that I can't combine them it leaves more opportunity for the cards to be drained before I can use them. Not cool Target.

I could, but the money I save on Raise, etc will be wasted in gas getting to and from Target. I'm not trying to sound like a whiny baby, but I've been spoiled for so long with the way things used to work. I can't get to Target on a weekly basis, never mind every single time I buy a card on Raise, Cardpool, etc.

I get that. I drive by target every day so it's easy for me but am lucky to live somewhere where most everything is super convenient.

They just aren't convenient to anywhere else I shop or chauffeur the kids on a regular basis. Traffic is really bad right now because it is snowbird season so the drive can be even longer. Once Easter passes they will be gone again. They just cleared some land near my house for retail space and I keep telling my DH that they should build a SuperTarget there because I could walk or ride a bike to it

I live in the boonies. A very rural area. The closest and really only target near me is 27 miles away. That is also the closest to a supermarket as well. On the bright side we have no traffic, so that is only a 30 minute drive. I usually go about once a week or so.

Use the website, not the app. Go to Target.com on your phone's browser or on your computer and sign in to your account. When you check out, you should have the option to apply saved gift cards to your purchase.

You can use up to 4 Target gift cards to purchase a larger Target gift card. Do this online and choose e-mail delivery for the new card. Repeat. Tedious when you are getting $5 cards from rewards sites but the only option now. I used to cash out every time I got enough points for a $5 card but now I will hold off until I save enough points for a higher value card or there is a promo coming up that I want to take advantage of like this Sunday's 10% off Target GC's.

I don't think you are being jaded at all. I posted it here, after seeing the post on slickdeals, but am still wanting to see some kind of leaked ad soon!
