Disney Gift Card Deals

So, to clarify, you have to bid on the Target gift cards like any other eBay item? Lots of the cards I'm seeing are going for higher than face value, or at face value with high shipping costs (one was over $9!). And, lots of the cards have multiple bidders.

This is my first time to do the Target/Ebay/Disney thing, so I'd love to know if there are any tips to getting the Target cards from eBay. I appreciate the help!
No. Buy the ones from gift card mall that you aren't bidding on. You can filter to only show buy it now deals.

So I just "made" 65.50 in Target gift cards with only 6.95 out of pocket. I had Target gift cards holding for the Disney to come back in stock. Plus, I had ordered the deal the other day where you paid 185.00 for 200.00 of Target gift cards on ebay. I used the cards I had to buy $500 of ebay gift cards (paid 450.00 - 5% Target gift card discount =427.50) . Was just able to turn those around and bought $500.00 worth of Target gift cards and just paid 6.95 for shipping. So I essentially got 65.55 of gift cards for free!

I'm working towards paying for a Disney cruise in March. So far I've spent $3,007 and after I'm able to change these gift cards for Disney I'll have $3,450. Pretty happy with saving almost 450 so far....makes the ridiculous price of the cruise a little easier to swallow.

When you search for Target cards, specify only "Buy It Now" cards (no bidding). Then look for the ones sold by Gift Card Mall. You get face value + a small shipping fee.

Yep, my $100 order got cancelled too. So I tried it again. We'll see what happens there.
This deal has been on slickdeals website since early yesterday morning. It made their front page. So, it won't surprise me in the least if they kill the deal. They tend to do that.

Money-launderer is a good description! Although I am not as good at this as some of you are, I think I am getting there. I bought a Target giftcard from the ebay deal and it came today -- just placed an order for an ebay gift card at Target (although I see that those are getting canceled now - sad).

I did purchase one $100 ebay giftcard this morning and received it within a few hours -- I am wondering if I should go ahead and buy the Target giftcard from the ebay seller at face value or wait to see if another deal comes along. For those of you who are buying the ebay giftcards from Target, are you using them now or waiting?

I tried again, too. If this one gets cancelled I'm going to try 2 $50 cards.

I did an order with a $25, $50, and $100 and the $25 and $50 came through. Maybe they're just cancelling the $100's??? Anyone know how many gift cards eBay will let you apply to an order?

I used 5 gift cards on my ebay purchase, so I know they will at least let you do that. I would like to know the answer to this as well.

I saw it on slickdeals this morning. I am so sad about how they are aware of the Target.com trick where you can get the 5% even if you pay with a giftcard. We are sure to lose that soon since it's plastered over and over in that thread (and was in the thread from last week about eBay Target cards). Nothing kills deals faster than it hitting slickdeals. Sigh

Slickdeals knew about the "REDCard-GC trick" on target .com before we did. It's not news over there.

I read there regularly. I've been a member since 2006. I never used to see mention of it, and now, it's on every Target thread. So maybe they knew already but lately, it seems lots more popular. I hope you are right, and that it really is 'old news'. I'd hate to see us lose this.

Does anybody know how long it takes for the Disney gift cards from Target to arrive? I was lucky enough to buy some when they were in stock on August 3, and they still aren't here. Target customer service was useless; they just read to me what I could see on the website. (When they shipped the cards to me, they sent them UPS, and then that transferred to USPS, so there isn't tracking after that point.)

You need to wait until after the "anticipated delivery" date has passed before they'll look at anything. They'll start trying to track them then, and if they can't find them, they'll refund your money so you can purchase them again.

I ordered three $100 gift cards last night and that order went through. Then I ordered a $50 & $25 eBay gift card and that order went through. I figured I might as well use up the remaining balance on my target gift card so I placed one more order for two $100 gift cards and that order was cancelled. All the orders went through fairly quickly. So before bed I tried to order one more $25 so I could at least get one more $100 gift card (with the other $25 & $50 that I already had) and that order went through without a problem as well. So I'm guessing they just ran out of $100 gift cards. Makes sense. I'm sure the $50 ones will run out soon too. :)

Is anyone seeing this on Target.com?

"Item in your cart have been updated
We're sorry, but Disney Mickey Gift Card - $50 was removed because it is not available for purchase at this time.

Please return to cart and continue shopping.
"

I was surprised Target.com let me add them to my cart in the first place.

It let me add $50.00 and $100 but went to checkout and "no items in cart" with no explanation. Tried several times.

Looks like the Disney Gift Cards are back up on Target.com. I was able to order the $100 one this morning!
