Disney Gift Card Deals

My staples 10% is good for up to $6 and my Lowe's 15% is good for up to $20. The target deal doesn't sound too bad due to the limitations with Chase.

For anyone wondering, my 5% at Target.com coupon does work for Disney gcs, but I think we're gonna use it for a nursery dresser instead. They have a deal to spend $200 and get a $30 Target gc plus we get the 10% on top of that. It comes out to saving around 24%.

When I tried the 5% for the Disney gcs it was more like 9.75% because they take off 5% for the coupon and then 5% off of the next amount for the redcard so it isn't quite 10%. We have 10% offers at Staples and Lowe's that we'll use for Disney gcs.
You can still get the Disney GCs with the Target code; it's good for as many items as you want on 1 order. I am quite happy with 9.75% off so just placed an order for things we need around the house, a few small holiday gifts and 2 x $500.00 Disney GCs. While I can use my Chase offers at Michael's and CVS for Disney GCs (boo no Staples or Lowe's for me), both offers have low limits. If I can score an almost 10% discount on a high amount then I'm happy!

RMN is back for Sam's at 4%

Has anyone done the emailed $50 Disney GC and had RMN credit? I see both the email and physical ones have gone to 2 max per member, and the $75 pack is 3 max now instead of 5.

I just added the 3-$25 ($75) with my other stuff order. I've only ordered and received the plastic cards from Sam's and RMN has paid off 5 out of 6 times.

That’s true I forgot it isn’t on one item like the 10% offer that’s for in store.

YMMV, but I shop at Publix. I have an account and use digital coupons. There is currently a coupon for $10 off a $50 Happy GC. I buy the Happy Student that can be used at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Then, use it to buy $50 Disney GCs at BB&B. That's 20%off, plus I use a credit card to buy the Happy GCs and get additional 2% back for "grocery" purchase. The digital coupon is good through 11/9. I just started using digital coupons and I'm not sure how many times it can be used, but I know it's once per transaction. I go there often and will try to use it on different days.

I have six happy gift card coupons.

I went back through my mail that was in the recycling bin to see if there was anything from Target and didn’t find anything :( if you’ve selected to get online statements would you not get that extra 5% off coupon? I saw an anniversary email but it was 10% off one item in store.

So, if I am able to score 10% off on Disney GC's, is that pretty good or are most of you doing much better than that through various means? I don't consider 10% off an amazing deal in most shopping scenarios but I'm getting the sense that 10% off on DGC's would be a pretty outstanding deal. Just wanting some perspective as I'm a newbie at this. Thanks!

I would say for the most part we aim for 10% off. We don’t usually get much higher than that off

I have over $6K left to pay off our vacation package. Does the disney world website take Disney GC? Has anyone done anything crazy and payoff that large amount with GC's?

How did you get 10% off and was there a max?

Minimum should be 5%. Can find deals that do 25% but you usually won't get a high percentage off in a high volume. So I shoot for a blended average of 15% overall. I try to do 10+% as deals come up and then if I still need, I pick up around 5%.

10% doesn't sound like a lot but for us that's usually hundreds of dollars saved that can be used for something else. I'm sure others do more ( or less) but we're ok with that amount of effort.

10% is my baseline. I am not aggressive (no longer use Raise) or chase the more complicated offers. It saves me $500+/- in dues and an AP.
