Disney Gift Card Deals

Question: I bought Disney gift cards. A lot- enough to pay for my entire trip haha. But what do I do with the physical gift cards after I’ve transferred the balance? Do you guys just throw it out? Or recycle (are they even recyclable?)
I shred it. Don't want anyone grabbing it out of the trash and trying to call up Disney and claim funds were stolen. Nobody ever gets that number besides me and Disney.

So it looks like the getting a red card is my best bet to purchase gift cards at that 5% off. I need $8000 worth of cards. Is my best bet to just get the debit red card? Is there any max $ amount using this card?
If you don't need it right now, wait until they run a promo for a coupon for like $50 off future purchase or something. Not valid on gift cards but $50 off groceries/household essentials/clothes ain't bad!

OMG!! Haunted Mansion is my favorite. Those are so cool. And of course you can only get them in park during Halloween season and we're not going until January. Boo hiss! I wonder if they will keep them out if they don't all sell. 😁

Love the HM cards. It's funny that they release it for the Halloween season but they just came out. Hope they have some left over (doubt it) next month when we are at DLR. I would love the Leota card.

quick check (I don't buy gc much lately) Target and Bj's....still both about 4-5% discount (if using redcard)...correct?

We ended up getting the Happy Haunts one completely by chance! I ordered a $25 general design one when Rakuten had the 10% CB (which went through, btw), and that card arrived in the mail last night. That was a nice surprise.

If you have any Chase cards, look and see if you received the Staples coupons. I received them on 3 of my cards this morning.
Can you use this by buying Disney gift cards? Or do you have to buy some other card and try to turn that into Disney? I don’t have time to run between stores but if I can get the % back for the Disney ones I’ll go there. Thanks!

For anyone wondering, my 5% at Target.com coupon does work for Disney gcs, but I think we're gonna use it for a nursery dresser instead. They have a deal to spend $200 and get a $30 Target gc plus we get the 10% on top of that. It comes out to saving around 24%.

When I tried the 5% for the Disney gcs it was more like 9.75% because they take off 5% for the coupon and then 5% off of the next amount for the redcard so it isn't quite 10%. We have 10% offers at Staples and Lowe's that we'll use for Disney gcs.
