Thanks for the tip! Out of curiosity, did you find AAA helped you save any money? We are AAA members, but when I did an online quote for our last trip, it was the exact same price as Disney's website down to the penny.![]()
It depends. In 3 trips, I have 3 answers. AAA offers a discount right off the bat. Might be something as low as $50-200. But hey, that's more merch or a town car ride from the airport.
Trip 1) We started off with just the AAA discount. But I then moved our trip to fall into a free dining period. And with free dining, it was a better discount. So we went with that.
Trip 2) The only discount was the AAA discount.
Trip 3) A room only discount opened up after we had booked. It would've only saved us a few more bucks vs. the AAA discount. And we would would've had to redo our FP+'s. So we just stuck with the AAA discount.
All that being said, it could be something as simple as when your vaca is planned for and what kind of discounts (Dis & AAA) are offered
