If it actually gives you the balance at the Disney Gift Card site, they are activated. I had one from Best Buy a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't activated and it gave me an error on the Disney Gift Card website. On the phone number when I called it actually says that the card isn't active (because I actually had to prove to the lady on the phone at BB that it wasn't active by calling it while she was on the line).

Yes as far as I know. I tried doing the same offer 4 times and it told me I exceeded monthly limit. So i checked the terms and it did say 3 per month.

FWIW, I have never received an ACTIVATED gift card from Best Buy on the first try. I have always had to jump through hoops to get my gift cards activated and it is a total PITA. As much as I hate the face to face of going to the store all the time, just to get gift cards with my BB rewards, that's what I do. It is a lot better than trying to talk to someone who barely speaks English and explain to them that my gift card is not activated. The last time, the guy actually told me that it was flagged as "possibly fraud"...even though I had "purchased" it with my own BB rewards.

What app is this?

Coupons.com. They usually have the larger/more popular coupon offers that are offered as printables so I always check there first. The coupon has to be selected/activated before your purchase in store and then you just photo your receipt and wait for the Paypal deposit. It has always worked and been quick for me so far.

Nice! I didn't know they had an app. I'll check it out. Though I do use a lot of coupons through the fred meyer app but I know there are some I could print but don't so this will be handy.

ETA it wants you to link your store card for most of them, for fred's it says they want you to add the card on their website/app so it wouldn't help there. The only place around me that I shop that it'll work off the receipt is Target. But the Seattle area is a grocery store desert.

I've purchased gift cards online from BB and never had this problem until this time. I received the disney gc yesterday. There was no receipt within the packaging so i knew something was wrong. I checked the balances on the disney website and the error message popped up for both cards. I called BB this morning and was only on the phone for maybe 10 minutes before they fixed one of the gift cards. I went right to the Disney GC site and transferred the balance to my other cards. The second card they weren't able to active and are shipping a new one within two days. Hopefully this one is activated this time. Now the biggest issue, is the whole point of this was to get the RMN rewards, which still doesn't show up as pending and i made the purchase on 1/25.

So, despite BB&B sending me an email saying one of my rebate forms had been rejected, I received all the gift cards in the mail that I was supposed to. Perhaps they had so many people call & complain that they got their IT staff to fix the problem or manually review & approve? *shrug* But the end result was that they made good on the cards they were supposed to, so I'm not really going to complain.

All of which is good because I'd tossed my receipts out after I got the first batch of emails saying they'd received my submission, so I didn't have any easy way to provide documentation of my purchase.

I have bought discounted gift cards from RMN before no problem. It wasn't for cash back though. But if you have time to go to Sam's and buy a gift card with a dosh linked CC its 2% back.

My RMN went pending today for my Disney gc from BB that I purchased on 1/31 and used in store pickup. I didn't actually pick them up until the weekend. Fingers crossed for completion.
