Disney Gift Card Deals

Maybe this can help figure out if the B.B. deal is being shut down by territory. Found this that shows the 6 territories for Best Buy. Worked yesterday for me in Arkansas and multiple people in Texas have mentioned it works for them. Anyone in Territory 3 not have it work for them?

Not sure how accurate this is. I live in Southern California and I'm able to purchase Disney gift cards with gifts cards at the location by my work however others in Southern California say there locations have not worked. I just went on my lunch today and I was able to convert my gift card to a gift card.

Do you mind telling me the location by your work?

Montclair. They did have a new sign posted about fraud and list of what to look for but it didn't mention anything about gift card with gift card purchases.

I also bought some from the Eastvale location on Sunday on my way to San Diego with no problems.

I tried two locations here in MI, Utica & Rochester Hills. As soon as the BB gc was scanned, poof ERROR! this was at both stores.

My camera is on sale but not enough to make me buy it. I hope it goes lower.
The manager has my name, cell & email address for the 2 appliances, he's thinking in October they should go on sale. Which is fine, patience is key just not my strong suit!

It was a no go in king of Prussia pa. Cashiers we’re like, nope no more gift cards. I’m only sitting on $75 dollars so I’ll try the other stores when I can get there. If not, my husband is getting a video game for his birthday

I bought $1200 in DGC last night at Kroger, and got 16,000 fuel points. I thought I was only going to get 4800, so not sure how I got so many. I also earned 40 of those Avenger Pop things, so my kids were thrilled about that. lol

Anyone in the SW PA/Ohio area, Giant Eagle is giving extra fuel perks starting tomorrow on GC. Each $100 in GC gets me $12 in free gas, plus I use my AmEx card to get 6% back on all grocery purchases, so an 18% discount total.

Taking the family to Universal for Thanksgiving, so I need a lot of GC! Too bad I can't combine them online like Disney.

We love taking advantage of the .20 fuel perks. We do it for Disney and Southwest (which works for any air travel as they seem to have the best prices). We go to Disney every couple years, so when we get home every time they have this sale we get a $500 Disney one. By the time our trip comes around a couple years later, we have a nice stockpile. While it may be better putting the money elsewhere to try to gain a little money on it, we like doing it this way because it doesn't feel as sticker shock as doing it all at once.

Has anyone attempted to purchase Disney gift cards using BB rewards certificates since this change? I'm sitting on almost $60 worth in addition to my $75 in BB gift cards. I know that the rewards certificates are categorized as "coupons" and I thought they had to be redeemed by the person named on the account. That would make me think that the odds of "laundering" the rewards certificates are almost zero. If I can still convert BB rewards into Disney gift cards, then I will definitely hold on to my BB Visa, but if not, I will stop using it now and pay the bill at the end of the month and get rid of it. I have no need for it if I can't use the rewards towards Disney money, especially since I have been earning close to $20 a month. I would rather put those rewards dollars towards more practical things if they aren't going towards vacation.

I was just about to take advantage of the cash star-best buy gift card promo so I could buy Starbucks GCs and Bed Bath and beyond GCs for kids’ teachers and upcoming weddings. Guessing that’s not a good idea???

Here we already bought the gift cards, with terms and conditions that said it could be used to buy 3rd party gift cards. They are changing the terms after they already sold us the gift cards.

How old is that card you found? It has a typo in the first sentence and a copyright date of 2015. The terms posted at the store and online exclude "some third party gift cards." That language was added to the policy in July. If you're holding cards that were purchased before that, I guess you can make a case, but otherwise, this isn't a change in terms.

No, that card was on the shelf YESTERDAY in a CVS store. I did not buy the card, I took a picture in the store last night. The point is, the gift cards still being sold RIGHT NOW still have that language on it.

Yes let us know if you receive it. In January/Feb i purchase about 600 dollars in gift cards with Ebates/Sams Club and ebates would
not honor it stating it was gift cards. They never did that before. I went back and forth with customer service multiple times before
they said they would make an exception this ONE TIME but not going forward.


Somewhere along the lines they have changed to exclude gift cards so I'm glad i got them when i could. A shame.
