Hello all! Sorry if it has been mentioned earlier, I tried going through as many pages as possible, but just got overwhelmed. I paid for my last trip using the Raise>Target>RedCard process to save ~10-15%. It seems as though that no longer works.
Stacking discounted gift cards with the REDcard discount on Target .com no longer works because you cannot use Target gift cards to pay any portion of an order containing gift cards. Those orders are promptly canceled. You can still use your REDcard to get 5% off third party gift cards online and in store. And you can still use Target gift cards that you've earned or bought at a discount to buy third party gift cards in store, but you cannot stack this with the REDcard discount. You will receive the REDcard discount only on the amount you actually charge onto the REDcard.
I keep seeing people talking about BestBuy, is this the way to go now? Unless going through the whole PP eBay thing, BestBuy GC on the various GC sites are about 5% off, is this the standard savings to get a BB GC then purchase a Disney GC?
Best Buy gets mentioned because a lot of people are cashing out their eBay Bucks this month into Best Buy gift cards to redeem for Disney gift cards. There were also a lot of PayPal Digital Gift deals for Best Buy gift cards recently. Some Citi ThankYou credit cards also have electronics stores like Best Buy as the 5% cash back category this quarter. Various rewards programs/apps also allow you to redeem points for Best Buy gift cards. Outside of discounts like these, it doesn't make much sense to buy Best Buy gift cards to get to Disney gift cards. In particular, eBay has stopped awarding eBay Bucks for gift card purchases and you can no longer use eBay gift cards to buy third party gift cards.
Is the Walmart or Sam's club GC able to be used to purchase Disney GC? If so, what % does this usually net?
Thank you!
Yes. Sam's Club sells Disney gift cards at about 5% off. You can use discounted or earned Walmart gift cards to buy Disney gift cards. Or you can use a Chase Freedom credit card to buy them because that card is offering 5% cash back at warehouse clubs this quarter.
