Anyone get a $10 savings code from Best Buy in their email last couple weeks? It's targeted with a number & pin like the PPDG gc and doesn't seem to exclude gc. The expiration is 10/29. I almost deleted it and am so glad I didn't although I haven't tried it yet.

I was tired of never knowing if my local BBY was going to let me purchase gift cards with BBY gcs on any given day, so I took to ordering online (through a portal). In order to pass the verification process, I had to add a small item (I went to the "Under $25" section and sorted by price lowest to highest) to have a balance to go on the credit card. I did it after hours on the weekend and also requested the add on item be shipped instead of in-store pickup. About 5-10 minutes after placing the order, and after I got confirmation that the payment transaction had passed verification, I went back and cancelled the add-on item. Everything worked out peachy.

Odd how they are so random. My eBay gift card online orders were always cancelled, but my Disney gift card orders never were. I just bought $250 of Dis gc online from them and didn't have any problems. I'm lazy with following up on portal rebates. I really should go check and see if that posted.

I just went into Best Buy and used it. He tried to ring it up as a coupon and that didn't work. Come to find out they have to ring it up like a gift card because it has a pin number like the PPDG cards. Ended up getting a $25 Disney gift card for $15.

I got a $5 savings code a few months back (not from rewards) that also had a number and pin. IIRC, I couldn't use it to buy a GC online but used it just fine for a GC in store.

Ebay won't allow you to file a claim until a certain period of time has passed- click on your item and they provide details. You have to at least wait till after promised delivery date, I know that.

I think this happened overnight. I went to my local Sams yesterday, and they were out of stock. I'm 99% sure I could have bought some online yesterday, but I didn't want to pay postage. Silly me. Fortunately, I have plenty of time before I need these.

As long as you don't need it right away, many of us use Walmart and Sams cards, and buy Disney at Sams (which sells them at 5% off.) But Sams is out of stock of Disney cards right now. Not sure for how long.

I haven't had a problem with SB's sending my PP rewards in weeks. I think that is all fixed. You can get Walmart GC's to buy Disney, or if you are like me and do not have a Sam's club membership, I cash out for Target and buy a Disney GC in store.

I use Ebates, which gives 1% back. You can use Shopkicks in store, which works out to about 0.8% back in kicks/points, but you'll be able to "cash out" to Target or Best Buy gift cards sooner and more frequently and won't have to wait for Ebates to send your Big Fat Check a month and a half after the end of a quarter.

Both EBates and Shopkicks have always credited gift card purchases for me, no add-on item required,* and even when paying with a gift card.

I will add the caveat that if you're ordering only gift cards and paying for the entire balance with gift cards, Best Buy will likely cancel your order and tell you in the cancellation email that they were unable to verify your info. I think this is because if you pay entirely with gift cards, you don't have to input any billing info, which seems to trigger some alarm bells when you're buying only gift cards. You'll initially get Ebates credit for the cancelled order, but it's always been clawed back in my experience. You can avoid having your order cancelled by having some charge go onto a credit card with your billing info attached.

Hello all! Sorry if it has been mentioned earlier, I tried going through as many pages as possible, but just got overwhelmed. I paid for my last trip using the Raise>Target>RedCard process to save ~10-15%. It seems as though that no longer works.

I keep seeing people talking about BestBuy, is this the way to go now? Unless going through the whole PP eBay thing, BestBuy GC on the various GC sites are about 5% off, is this the standard savings to get a BB GC then purchase a Disney GC?

Is the Walmart or Sam's club GC able to be used to purchase Disney GC? If so, what % does this usually net?
