Disney Gift Card Deals

I see Amex has a new offer for a $25 statement credit when you use your enrolled card to spend $250+ in one or more transactions in store at BB or online at BB .com between now and 9/5. Excludes e-GC and corporate GC purchases. Amex also had an earlier offer for 2x Membership Rewards points for purchases with your enrolled card at BB .com through 12/31.

There's also a similar $5 statement credit off a $25+ purchase at Bed Bath & Beyond in store and online through 9/5. Also excludes eGCs, but I'm pretty sure I've seen physical GCs in store.
I just got back from running errands. My BB&B only had their own GCs. BB, of course, had eBay and Disney GCs. I picked up a $250 Disney GC and will pay off my AmEx with my ebates money when the bill comes next month. I used my Shopkick app to get 500 kicks for the purchase (worth ~$2 Target GC) plus had the cashier scan my BB Rewards card. It's not the huge savings that we were getting with previous churns, but it's 10%+ so it's not a bad deal. I'll probably repeat it with my husband's AmEx next week. Thanks for posting this deal.

CardCash dot com is now offering Target cards at 6.5% off.
Do you have experience with that outfit by chance? Have any of the gift cards been bad and you needed a refund? I've gotten a bad gift card from Raise and they refunded so I feel ok using them, but I'd like that little bit extra savings if this CardCash company is on the up and up.

Scanning Shopkicks in store a nice add-on. I've also had success ordering [Disney] GCs on BB .com for in-store pickup with Ebates activated for 1% cash back (so $2.50 on a $250 purchase), plus you can earn BB Rewards but not Shopkicks.

P.S. I know ordering GCs for in-store pickup has been YMMV on this board, but I haven't had problems even when paying with GCs, and maybe paying with an Amex might work better.

I know you didn't ask me, but I picked up a $200 Target from them a few hours ago at 7.25%. They texted me to confirm my purchase. Got it no problem and immediately ordered Disney from Target.

Thanks for the heads up about Cardcash. I've lost a lot of my discounts after so many issues with eBay and so many things changing. I was able to purchase the last $400 in Disney gift cards I needed to pay for our cruise excursions. Just about a 12% discount which is FAR less than what I was getting before but $48 is better than nothing!

I don't remember if this has been asked before, but has anyone tried to purchase gift cards at Bed Bath & Beyond with a BBB gift card?

Anyone know whats defined as "Corporate Gift Card purchases"?

My BBB had lots of $25 Disney gift cards so that turns out to an easy 20% for me on 4 AMEX cards. Remember you can add this to all your cards if you use incognito mode.

Warning, ebay/paypal. I can no longer make paypal purchases on ebay as of Saturday. Cryptic error message "We are having a technical hiccup and PayPal isn't available right now. ". I have called ebay and paypal with no resolution. I have used ebay and paypal for 15 years with no issues but not sure what is up with them. From quick news scans, they split into 2 companies last year and have lots of issues. Hope it just magically starts working so I can get my $30 in ebay bucks. Otherwise, guess I'm out of luck if I want to use ebay ever again!

I have used cardcash before, but I didn't realize that could have shopped them on my phone. Thanks for this info!

MommaBerd mentioned tomorrow's Amazon PrimeDay. I just got an email from BFAds dot net reminding me that it starts at midnight PT! (3 hours from this posting). And other online sites will be competing, even if ebay decides not to (comments below are BFAds', not mine):
  • Walmart is hosting a Dare to Compare sale with thousands of rollbacks, complete with real-time price comparisons that meet or beat Amazon's. To make things even sweeter, they're offering free shipping with no required minimum purchase from now through Friday, July 15th. If you're interested in Unlimited Free 2-Day Shipping to get your items faster, you can sign up for a free trial of Walmart's ShippingPass!
  • Kohl's is offering Beat the Heat Buys, with new daily deals every day from now through July 14th. Categories in this sale focus on clothing and home items.
  • JCPenney's Penney Palooza sale is going on today and tomorrow. You'll get an extra 25% off the lowest price listed with coupon code "NEWLOOK6" at checkout. In addition, their free shipping threshold has dropped from $99 to $49.
  • Newegg's Fantastech Sale has teaser deals live right now. The full sale is going live late tonight. Last year Newegg ran a similar promotion, but like Prime Day 2015, it left a lot to be desired. Hopefully this year we'll see something hotter than their everyday selection with a different name slapped on it.
  • Dell is hosting a Black Friday in July Pre-Sale today, and we expect the doorbuster deals to get even hotter. According to this link, you can shop the full Black Friday in July sale starting on July 12th, and this link says the event is July 14th. Regardless of the date, make sure to check this promotion out if you're in the market for a new PC or TV.
  • Best Buy casually updated their website today by throwing some shade, saying "Deals for All. No Membership Needed." However, the deals so far aren't looking too hot, whether a membership is required or not. Best Buy might be keeping their plans close until they see what Amazon has to offer.
  • Sears hasn't yet announced any special sales, but several of our members have reported $30 in Surprise Points being added to their account. This offer may be targeted, but it's worth checking out, especially if it ends up being the case that Sears is preparing for a big sale this week.
  • Toys R Us is holding a Super Brands Sale from today through Friday. All week you can get discounts like 30% off select Legos or 25% off Monster High items. Tomorrow there are special deals, like 15% off regularly-priced items sitewide.

Went to the Walgreens down the street and swiped the WGC for an eBay GC. After the transaction went through and I was walking away from the counter the clerk asked if I just used a WGC to purchase a GC with a smirk on his face. Couldn't get a feel for what he was thinking and didn't really care but wish now I would have asked just out of curiosity.
Glad to see you were able to use your Walgreens gc to purchase an Ebay gc, especially since I'm not super far away from your area.
I am curious, lol, as to why he asked you that and if he was disapproving or just noticing it after the fact. Can I ask how large of a gc did you buy?

I've been waiting to hear of any more posters being able to use a Walgreens gc there to get say an Ebay or Disney gc. This could be great! Still gotta convert to try, though, I thought of just going to buy a Walgreens gc for $10 then back again to purchase Ebay gc with it.

Thanks! I was at BB&B yesterday and they had lots of gift cards.
Did you notice if they had Ebay or Disney? I suppose though, that they don't allow gc - gc purchase.

....
Edit: I just noticed @Minniekins had a different experience and WAS able to use eBay gift cards although having trouble with PP. Interesting.
Yes, I've made most all churning gc purchases with my Ebay gc's, and no problems, other than at ppdg, though when those purchases did go thru, still using ebay gc's.

You are limited to just like the $50 Disney or Ebay gc's though, right, no loadable gc's? I thought you couldn't get BB rewards purchasing gc's with BB gc's?

Has anyone bought and used the $250 or $500 GS gc's from the NGC (NationalGiftCard) seller on ebay? That'd be a nice size to buy, not having to swipe as many cards for a purchase. Have people also had good luck with purchasing cards from Cardency?

I'm pretty sure I saw $25 Disney gift cards at BB&B on Sunday.

I thought Cardency's delivery was slow but that's better than not at all. I bought a $50 Walgreen's GC on the buy $75 get $15 off offer. I feel a lot better about using W rather than GS or BB. There's one on every corner and they use a lot of clerks so won't be running into the same peeps all the time. The thing I didn't like was the GC was delivered in an envelope with return address listed as Awards Center, easy to tell it was a GC or CC. Hopefully if you buy 5 x $100's the shipping won't be quite that casual.
