Disney Genie+ Confusion

Our family has 2 separate reservations. We all gave Genie+. I am in charge of making the Genie+ reservations. How do I link things or what do I need to do to be able to do this since we have 2 separate reservations. Technology is not my friend & I'm overwhelmed. Thank you!

You basically want to be in each other's "Family and Friends list." I think the easiest way to accomplish that these days (though I have minimal experience!) is to open your My Disney Experience app, select the little menu icon in the bottom right, scroll down and select my profile, scroll down and select "show my linking code." If the MDE person with the other reservation scans that code, it will provide steps for linking your accounts for planning purposes.
