My family will be traveling to Orlando this summer along with another family. We have been to Disney, but they have not. Our destination is really Universal, but thought that since we were traveling all the way down again, our friends should experience Disney for a couple of days. My question is which park is best to experience for kids that are 8 and 12? We will be staying on site at Universal so will be traveling by car to Disney. I know Disney has great water parks, Typhoon, Blizzard Beach, etc. I don't know anything about Disney Quest (not sure if that is right name). Also, where can you buy economical "day" tickets for Disney and do you need to buy separate tickets for each park? Want to show my friends a good time while we are there, but really don't know where to go on the limited time we have. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Since you will be at Universal you can probably skip MGM, they are similar. But you must do Magic Kingdom...it's where the magic begins!!!

(don't forget to see the Pirates!)

One day at the Magic Kingdom. Then DTD that night. Next morning head for Typhoon Lagoon and the then the afternoon/evening at Epcot.
