Disney Food price increases

I noticed the prices at Capt Cooks for breakfast had gone up. Makes it less of a good deal to head that way vs TS $20-25 AYCE options. We’re doing Trails End breakfast now instead of Capt Cooks. I had wanted to try their breakfast, but not worth it for a smaller breakfast. We can do Trails End for $20 and skip lunch.

I also looks like I’ll be ordering fewer of the the adult drinks this trip. 😂

Agreed. But to be fair, these increase aren't just Disney's issue. Our local restaurants are doing exactly the same thing. The problem with Disney is their prices were higher to begin with, so a 5%-10% increase there seems bigger!
Agree! We tend to stay for 14 nights (from the UK) and if each day is costing at least $5 extra per day we are looking at at least $140 a trip

I get it, prices going up all over. Key will be if prices go down when supply chain issues get resolved and we get inflation in-check, but that's going to be a few years so this is the new normal and just the beginning.

I skimmed the list, seemed most prices on the high end were only $2. Oddly enough two items with the biggest increases seemed very odd, a brownie and a kid's grilled cheese?

Allergy-friendly Brownie – Gluten/Wheat Allergy-friendly – $2.49 to $4.79 a $2.30 jump
Kids’ Grilled Cheese – Egg Allergy-friendly Served on Allergy-Friendly Bread with Strawberry-flavored Yogurt Smoothie, Carrot Sticks, and choice of Beverage – $4.19 to $6.79 a $2.60 jump

And it looks like the cheaper bottles of Coke at Joffrey's have shot up to $4.69 to match the other locations.

it's unfortunate that the already high prices are going up again. I like to think that sooner or later there will be repercussions, but we all know we will just grin and bear it.

It's a bummer but the global supply chain is insane right now. I work for a brewery and have had to implement price increases on our beer because just packaging materials alone (cans, cases, cartons) have increased by over $1 per case, which comes directly out of our margins.

Some increases on their list may not make sense (grilled cheese? carrot sticks?) but that's likely because increasing an expensive steak dinner at Topolino's by $15 will seem exorbitant but raising carrot sticks from $2 to $6 will likely generate enough money to support a minimal increase on that steak dinner. The money is all going to the same place; it's all relative.
