Just got home from a week stay at Disney World. Had lots of great meals. I was very impressed with Skipper Canteen. Thinking this may become my go to stop in the Magic Kingdom. Wait wasn't bad. I made reservations about 2 hours in advance and they were able to seat me shortly after I checked in. As much as I enjoyed Skipper Canteen, Rose & Crown is still my favorite dining location in WDW (I ate there twice this trip). Be Our Guest was good as always. I try to make lunch reservations shortly after they start serving lunch because it's much easier to find a place to sit.
Intermission Food Court - All Star Music American Classic Burger with fries and grab & go fruit
Sunshine Seasons - Epcot
Blueberry muffin
Skipper Canteen - Magic Kingdom
Ambasha Bread With Honey-Infused Dip ( I think I could have made a meal of just this bread )
Schweitzer Slush ( I had hoped to get this in a souvenir mug, but unfortunately they had sold out )
Afternoon Tea - The Grand Floridian
This was a fun and unique experience in a beautiful setting. I ordered the Cheshire Tea which comes with 4 courses and your choice of tea (I got chamomile). The tea was wonderful and the food was good. Not sure I will do this again, at least not solo, but I'm glad I did it.
First Course: Fruits & Cheese, oh and delicious honey comb
Second Course: Finger Sandwiches
Third Course: Scone and Jam Tart
Fourth Course: House-Made Pastries, Strawberries and Creme
