do you remember how much the adult chicken nuggets cost?

Unfortunately when you are on the dining plan, you get a receipt with no prices listed. I concentrated on getting the full cost of the meals so I could compare what we paid on the plan to what we actually "spent".

L'Artisan des Glaces:

Pistachio w/ Raspberry:

We ordered the lemon meringue with raspberry sauce version of this a couple of weeks ago. It was delicious, albeit a little messy when finishing it. Our bread was not dry at all.

I had planned to do a dining report for our trip last October but RL got in the way and I never got around to it. We took all these food pictures though, so I thought I'd post them here since most of the things we enjoyed are still available. :-) It was DH and I on this trip. We were there for two weeks, arriving at the end of September and staying through the first two weeks of October with the Free Dining promotion.

Lunch at Be Our Guest

BOG_Carol.jpg

I had the Braised Pork with the Strawberry Cream Cheese cupcake.

BOG_Frank.jpg

DH had the same entree and chose the Triple Chocolate cupcake for his dessert.

BOG_All_Gone.jpg

As you can see, we didn't like it at all. :rolleyes1

No trip to WDW is complete without a visit (or two) to Ghirardelli!

Ghirardelli.jpg

DH had their classic Hot Fudge Sundae called "The Girardelli Square" - The World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae - Two scoops of vanilla ice cream overflowing with our freshly homemade hot fudge, whipped cream, chopped almonds, and a cherry. He loved every bite.

Ghirardelli_Carol.jpg

I had "The Ocean Beach" - Sea Salt Caramel Sundae. Vanilla ice cream smothered with creamy caramel, freshly homemade hot fudge and sea salt. Perfectly topped with whipped cream, creamy caramel, sea salt and a Ghirardelli SQUARES milk chocolate. This was delicious!!

Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern

LTT_Saladand_Rolls.jpg

Declaration Salad and dinner rolls with butter.

LTT_My_Plate.jpg

My plate with (counter-clockwise from bottom) mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, green beans, sliced turkey, pork loin, sliced beef, carrots and stuffing.

LTT_Johnny_Appleseeds_Cake.jpg

Johnny Appleseed's Cake: Tavern made white cake filled with apples and dried cranberries, topped with ice cream.

LTT_Anniversary_Cupcake.jpg

They also brought us a cupcake for our anniversary. :love2:

Raglan Road Dinner

RR_Breadand_Oil.jpg

Irish Soda Bread, Guinness reduction and oil for dipping.

RR_Kevins_Heavenly_Ham.jpg

I had Kevin's Heavenly Ham - Irish mist glazed loin of bacon with savoy cabbage, colcannon potatoes, parsley cream sauce and a raisin cider jus

RR_Kevins_Heavenly_Ham2.jpg

Another angle. This was a HUGE serving and could have easily fed two people. It truly was heavenly, sooo good!

RR_Fishand_Chips.jpg

DH had Fish & Chips - Our famous beer battered fish & chips served with our fresh tartar sauce. DH doesn't use tartar sauce and told them not to bring it.

RR_Moore_St_Market.jpg

My dessert was Moore Street Market - fresh fruit basket with natural yoghurt and a honey drizzle

RR_Apple_Sberry_Crumble.jpg

DH had Strawberry & Apple Crumble - Fresh strawberries and apple crumble with vanilla ice cream and fresh cream

Everything was delicious, RR is a long-time favourite of ours!
