I can't see them either... when I try to view the image by itself it brings me to a Google page that says I do not have permission to see them. Perhaps you need to change the security settings so that other people can see them?
One of our goals each trip is to try one new restaurant. This time it was the Turf Club...
First of all they jammed us alll the way in the back of this corner. We had an 8 top next to us and a 10 top on the other side. We couldn't hear ourselves talk..AND the air conditioning was broken. So we were both sweltering. Not a good first impression.
Bread
I got the NY strip Grilled New York Strip
with Asparagus, Mashed Potatoes, and Lobster Fondue
$34.49
It was fine but the steak was really tough and just not very good. The lobster fondue was good but I felt like it didn't add much.
I got the infamous chocolate dessert that is on the disney dining page somewhere.
Chocolate Espresso Torte
with Raspberry Sauce and Vanilla-Port Wine Ice Cream
$5.99
It was actually pretty good. It had a very good texture but it was very very rich! Note the ice cream melting from how hot it was.
Corey got the seasonal apple crisp. He liked it.
Overall, it was fine but we won't be returning. It was definitely a "one and done" to cross of our list!
wow, that is a TON of mushrooms...I like a little but not like that. But that cupcake looks amazing! Makes me wish it was fall and not coming up on summer...ha ha
African Rum Runner: Pink Pigeon African Rum, Blackberry Brandy, Creme de Banana, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, and Grenadine.
Carved Beef Flank Steak in the center. Then clockwise from the top is a Mediterranean-style Salmon, Durban-Style Roasted Chicken, Pork Shoulder, Beef Bobotie, and Fufu.
More chicken, pork, and salmon. Because I'm relatively certain that in my previous life, I was a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Clockwise from Top: Cassava Cake, Guava Panna Cotta, Zebra Dome, Kenyan Coffee Tart, and Key Lime Cheesecake.
I'm enjoying all the photos. I get to start making ressies for our next trip at the beginning of June. It gives me good ideas on where to book. Also I like seeing what something looks like first.
Braised Pork (Coq Au Vin Style): Eight Hour Slow-cooked Pork with Mushrooms, Onions, Carrots and Bacon served with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans Jardiniere.
