Yachtsman Steakhouse dinner: Adult and Kids menus. Rolls: Although we each like different kinds, we all love the rolls of our choice (the pull-apart onion one is mucho yummy). Butter and roasted garlic: we don't use the garlic, but it looks really pretty
Caesar Salad - Crisp Romaine, Parmigiano, Copa Secco, and Focaccia Croutons: nice presentation and the lemon was a nice touch; very fresh, light and tasty; most of the time, we ask for no dressing because we have a salad dressing issue in our house, so we bring our own in little dressing containers. Mixed Green Salad: crispy lettuce and just the right size for our kids, though they both liked our "fancy" salads better
8-oz Black Angus Filet Mignon - Mashed Potatoes, and Cabernet Wine Sauce: very good and the steak was cooked perfectly; DD1 didn't like the mashed potatoes very much, she said they were VERY bland.
12-oz Prime New York Strip Steak - Potato Gratin and Peppercorn-Brandy Sauce: Subbed fries, they were ok, not very crispy; steak was wonderful and cooked perfectly the first time.
8-oz Black Angus Filet Mignon - Mashed Potatoes, and Cabernet Wine Sauce: Subbed Potato Gratin and it was very yummy; steak was supposed to be Medium but was Well-done instead, so we sent it back and when it came out the second time, it was Medium-well, but I didn't want to spend the time to send it back again because everyone else was finished with their meals, it was still tasty, but not quite right. Kids Oak-grilled Steak Skewer - with Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables: potatoes were not a hit, but the steak was gone in about 2 seconds; carrots were very yummy as well.
I'll give my overall in the next post with the desserts.
