Continuing with Food & Wine (2014) and Dining Throughout Disney World with Figment...

Flying Fish, Boardwalk Inn (Dinner)
Figment hasn’t been to Flying Fish for a while, so he thought it would be fun to return. They were running a little behind schedule, so Figment had to wait for a bit. Luckily, there was entertainment on the Boardwalk to watch (a magician). Overall, Figment liked his food at Flying Fish, but he was surprised at the noise level. Between the sounds from the open kitchen and other guests, Flying Fish had a noise level that rivaled California Grill.

Bread Service – Like the other Signatures, bread service was provided at the start of the meal.
DSC_0255_zps74413e9c.jpg

Signature Flying Fish Cafe Appetizer Duo - Crispy Maine coast Jonah crab cake and our very own Caesar salad. Figment liked both of these items. The crab cake was crispy on the outside and crab-filled on the inside. The salad was a bit hard to eat, but had good flavor.
DSC_0264_zpsa13622b3.jpg

Flying Fish Cafe Crispy Crab Cake - Savory vegetable slaw, roasted red pepper coulis, and ancho chile remoulade. This was a larger version of the crab cake from the Appetizer Duo. Figment liked this one too!
DSC_0268_zps80b99bf0.jpg

Crispy Togarashi-scented Calamari and Florida Rock Shrimp - Served Asian-inspired dipping sauce. The calamari were very good, as were the shrimp.
DSC_0270_zps9bc75f11.jpg

Signature Flying Fish Cafe Entree Duo - Char-crusted angus New York strip steak and potato-wrapped red snapper. Figment thought this would be a great way to try two different items. The steak was good and the snapper was his favorite.
DSC_0275_zpsc01628e7.jpg

Flying Fish Cafe's Idaho Potato-Wrapped Red Snapper - Over a rich leek fondue with a veal glace de viande, and red wine-cassis butter reduction. Figment liked the potato-wrapped red snapper. The fish was very moist and the potatoes were crispy. The leek fondue was kind of odd; he sort of liked it, but it was a little to creamy for him.

Raglan Road, Downtown Disney (Brunch)
Figment has traditionally gone to Raglan Road on Sunday for the Sunday brunch menu. The full lunch menu is also available, but there are a few additional items. There is also live music and Irish Dancing during brunch. He was seated in the main room this time, so he had a great view of the dancing and the band.

Irish Soda Bread – The meal starts with some Irish soda bread and oil for dipping.
DSC_0084_zpsd9bc0764.jpg

Dalkey Duo - Battered cocktail sausages with Dalkey mustard dipping sauce. Figment likes deep-fried foods! The sausages were very good.
DSC_0091_zps1a5a9606.jpg

Scallop Forest - Georges Bank scallops in a golden batter served with citrus lime dipping sauce and sweet chili jam. Figment really likes how these scallops are presented. The scallops were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. They’re so good, they don’t need the dipping sauce!
DSC_0092_zpsbe407254.jpg

Fish & Chips - Our famous beer battered fish & chips with fresh tartar sauce. Figment likes how this dish is initially presented (with everything in a cone, standing upright). The fish was very moist and tasty.
DSC_0102_zps89a1b6b3.jpg

Full Irish Breakfast – Sausage, black and white pudding, bacon, roasted tomato, mushrooms and fried eggs with roasties. Figment has had this before and likes the variety. (The roasties (potatoes) were missing initially, but they brought out a plate full later.)
DSC_0109_zps758c03ad.jpg

Sod the Stew - Beef stew infused with a hint of Guinness. The stew has a very rich flavor and the meat was very tender. Figment really likes the beef stew at Raglan Road.
DSC_0114_zps3e0dfe3e.jpg

Dunbrody Kiss – This is Figment’s favorite dessert in WDW! It’s a chocolate mousse dome, covered in chocolate ganache, with a sponge cake base and marmalade, with fresh raspberries. It’s very rich and chocolaty, but so good!

If Figment, or anyone else for that matter find themselves in DTD and don't have time for the Raglan Road experience, those magnificent battered sausages can also be found next door at Cookes of Dublin! You can also get a little bit of heaven called Irish Vintage Cheese and Bacon Dip to dip them in.

Thanks! I know you can also get the Scallop Forest at Cooke's of Dublin. It's called the "Georges Bank Atlantic Scallops" the presentation isn't as fancy, but it's still really good.

Do they have the same dipping sauces for the scallops at Cooke's as they do at Raglan Road?

(Also, thanks for all the food pics. I especially enjoyed/used your info on DL dining for planning our first trip there this past summer!)

To be honest, I don't remember. I looked through my photos and I didn't see any photos of a sauce container included with the scallops.

You're welcome!

As i'm going over this thread, I keep telling myself in my mind. "why the heck do I always end up eating at the same food court in Tomorrowland." when there are so many better options at the park.
