Hey everyone, we just returned from our trip. Here is some food that we ate while we were there! I am a vegetarian, but the rest of my family is not.
From Casey's Corner in MK:
Chili Cheese Dog with fries
Disney122057.jpg

Plain Hot Dog
Disney122055.jpg

Ball Park Nachos without meat (These were alright.)
Disney122054.jpg

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot
Vegetable & Tofu noodle bowl. From what I heard about Sunshine Seasons I expected it to be great. I was dissapointed, it was just okay.
Disney121993.jpg

Salad
Disney121994.jpg

Rotisserie Pork Chop with potatoes
Disney121996.jpg

Rotisserie 1/2 chicken with rice
Disney121995.jpg

Ghiradelli at DTD Double Scoop Cookies & Cream chocolate dipped waffle cone. Delicious, obviously.
Disney121924.jpg

Mama Melrose:
Vegetable Flatbread. I have to say that I was really scared when this came out. It didn't look too appetizing to me, but it was actually pretty good.
Disney121814.jpg

La Catina de San Angel Inn:
Nachos
Disney121563.jpg

Empanadas de Queso (These were also okay. It was A LOT of food)
Disney121562.jpg

More in the next post!

Caribbean Beach Resort:
Yogurt & Granola Parfait. I didn't think you could go wrong with yogurt but they did. I thought this was pretty gross.
Disney121537.jpg

Chicken Strips & Fries
Disney121536.jpg

Garden Grill:
Since it's a buffet they bring out, I believe everyone gets this. I forgot what each thing was though, sorry.
Disney121520.jpg

They brought me out a vegetarian alternative. It was corn polenta in some kind of sauce. This was pretty good.
Disney121519.jpg

Life's a Bug Red Velvet Cupcake. Apparently this was from the kids menu (I think) but it was yummy!
Disney121528.jpg

Fruit Cobbler with Vanilla Bean whipped cream. This was delicious. Probably the best desert I had the whole trip.
Disney121525.jpg

Columbia Harbour House
Chicken Strips & Fries
Disney121348.jpg

Lighthouse Sandwhich. This was one of the best things I had the whole trip.
Disney121347.jpg

More in another post!

Yak & Yeti:
Chicken Fried Rice Side
Disney121191.jpg

I believe this is the crispy honey chicken.
Disney121190.jpg

Vegetable Lo Mein with Tofu. This was pretty good but a lot of food. I ended up taking half back to the hotel and heating it up for dinner. I really liked the restaurant and our server was great.
Disney121189.jpg

Caribbean Beach:
Mickey Waffle with Bacon. I got the same thing, gave the bacon to my parents, and instead got it with strawberries on top. The strawberries were good but it tasted like they put it over strawberry syrup and it was too sweet for breakfast.
Disney12926.jpg

Epcot:
Mickey Pretzel with cheese. Classic and tasty!
Disney12834.jpg

Via Napoli:
Half pepperoni, half cheese I think. I never had pizza like this. It was good, but different.
Disney12815.jpg

Main Street Confectionary:
Mickey Mouse Gingerbread! Pretty good, tasted better with chocolate.
Disney12677.jpg

Pizza Planet:
Vegetable Pizza. I love almost any pizza so this was good.
Disney12437.jpg

Cosmic Ray's
Burger & Fries
Disney12202.jpg

Vegetable Sandwich. Surprisingly, this was pretty good. I ended up ordering it again later in the trip.
Disney12201.jpg

Caribbean Beach Again!:
Plain Cheese pizza. Good.
Disney1251.jpg

Meatball Sub of some kind
Disney1250.jpg

Well, that is the bulk of what we ate. As well as some food from AOA. I also ate one of those Mickey Mouse Peanut Butter Cups. Those things are massive and so good!

My camera is a Canon Rebel T3i. I love it.

I had read a lot of good things about Sunshine Seasons, but it just wasn't as good as expected. The noodles were too thin and the tofu was bland. However I forgot to post pictures of this brownie that I got from the desert section. It definitely made up for my noodles!
Disney122001.jpg

I thought the photo limit was 12...apparently not, because this is 13 pictures.
One more post with some food from AOA!

Finally, we made our way over to AOA on Monday just to see what it looked like and I had heard good things about the food.

My family ordered a large cheese pizza. (We're pizza enthusiasts apparently. :rotfl2:) I tried a piece and it was really delicious and filling.
Disney122302.jpg

I ordered a veggie burger and cole slaw. My family liked the cole slaw but I was underwhelmed. The burger on the other hand...
Disney122301.jpg

Aha! My favorite meal of the entire trip was this burger. I expected it to be some kind of morningstar burger like some others have stated getting at CS. It took them about 5-10 minutes to get all of our food, I expected since there wasn't a lot of people and workers seemed to be in training. However this sandwich was fantastic and I devoured it. It is a fried green tomato on top, with a slice of pepperjack cheese, then the veggie burger under it. The veggie burger was actually made with bread and corn and other veggies. Wow! The only problem was the bun was too weak and my sandwich kept falling out. :lmao: Otherwise, 2 thumbs up for this burger!!
Disney122300.jpg

Well, that's all for this trip! We only ate about one meal and day and then snacks we brought to stay on budget. We originally planned to eat at 'Ohana's but my parents decided the price was way too much than we had planned and we canceled it. :sad1: Oh well, guess there is always next trip! ;)

I know i posted pictures on here months ago so sorry if i have some duplicates :thumbsup2

love you, sweet strawberry shortcake that get gets its own SONG!

Its blue raspberry slushie, in case you wondered. :rotfl:

P9180558.jpg

Yes ! I finally get to post pics ! I hope I remember how!

This may take me a few days....

Here I will attempt to post : Charred Filet of Beef glazed with a red wine reduction topped with a cabernet and roasted shallot butter over white truffle forest mushroom whipped potatoes.
This was my meal and IT was ABSOLUTELY delicious !
Hollywood Brown Derby Imagineer Dining Friday 6/1/2012

100_6324.jpg

DSD2 and DSGF got the Noodle Bowl with a Grilled Breast of Chicken, Soy Beans, Sugar Snap Peas Bok Choy and ****ake Mushrooms in a Red Curry Broth

DSD2 got the curry broth on the side...

She said "it was very good, very well presented but ended up being an endless bowl of food so I started just eating the chicken"

I'll post DSGF review asap:

100_6325.jpg

On the above pic... that is a pic of DSGF's noodle bowl which had the red curry broth on top.

Hubs had the Coriander dusted Grouper, Cauliflower Risotto, pea Tendrils, cruncy Sunchokes and a Yellow Tomato Coulis.
Again this was Friday 6/1/2012
Hubs said it was very good. I tasted it and liked it but just LOVED my Filet of beef so much I didn't try a lot of his Grouper....

My avatar is from the IMagineer Lunch, in the center is Marcey Floyd, our Imagineer, she was FABULOUS ! She is an Electronic Engineer, the most Senior Engineer in Orlando. Hubs said he could barely remember the food ... and I understand why... we were "starstruck" meeting an imagineer...but it was a wonderful experience for all of us.

100_6323.jpg

Our Imagineer, Marcey Floyd has worked on many of the interactive ride components, such as on Spaceship Earth (My favorite in Epcot)....and she was currently working on Test Track.

I had tried the much loved Grapefruit Cake in May 2010 and I did not care for it then... I had heard it used to be home made but now was made off site and frozen. I think I enjoyed it more than in May 2010 but not as delicious as those before 2010 who raved about it.....

Lettuce Cups - minced chicken breast, chopped vegetables, maple tamarind sauce, crisp lettuce cups $12.99

These were very good... DS and DSGF who ordered them said "Different taste than PF Changs". DSGF is part Indian and she said this restaurant reminded her of her Mom's cooking. I had always thought of it as Chinese now realize it leans to Indian cooking/flavors.

100_6291.jpg

Bourbon Chicken - Tempura chicken, carrots, green onions, sweet bourbon sauce $17.99

This was highly recommended by our waiter but DH did not care for it....
