Disney Food Pictures...Part II

A dessert thread is a fine idea, but you may want to actually start a new thread instead of posting a "dessert thread" inside the food thread, lol!

For that ice cream sandwich, I think it might be worth being wrecked for the rest of the evening!

Can you believe I've never tried one? It's a definite must this time around. I remember years ago when they just slapped these squares of ice cream on there (reminded me of the ice cream in Klondike bars) so it never looked quite as appealing as all these pics do. I've never paid attention to them in more recent years because of the memory of what they looked like in the 80's. I think I need to be more observant!!

The chocolate chip cookies are a tradition for us (a dozen to bring home every trip!) so I think I may have to expand a bit. A dozen to take home and an ice cream sandwich to have right then and there!

Goofy26- Imagine two huge cookies (like the kind you get at the mall from Mrs. Filed's or whatever) and three scoops of icecream. My stomach felt like it was going to burst. DS wanted to swim. All I could do was lay in the hammock and let him play in the sand. I managed to waddle to the pool a few hours later. I am just terrible with sweets!

So funny! DD and I were determined to try these for the first time during our trip in June - we EACH ordered our own! We wound up taking the top cookie and dipping it in the ice cream to eat; still had to throw half of it away though. We won't make that mistake again!

Here's my first contribution to this thread. I've drooled over everyone's pictures for a long time, so I thought it was time to add a few of my own.
These are from my new favorite restaurant, Narcoosee's. We had the most wonderful meal and the atmosphere is great!!!

Crab-Crusted Flounder - crushed fingerling potatoes, hericot vert, and Meyer lemon butter sauce $36 This was absolutely delicious!!!

Kid's Filet Mignon - with extra mashed potatoes no vegetables $13.00
DS loved this...

Grilled Scallops - wild mushroom risotto, fresh peas, crispy pancetta and porcini mushroom broth $32 Wonderful!!!

Key Lime Creme Brulee $7 Very good...

Almond-crusted Cheesecake with Lambert Cherry Sauce $8 Oh my Gosh great!!!

Warm Chocolate Almond Gateau - with vanilla bean whipped cream $7 Very chocolately and good...

I agree! We HAVE to keep it going. I check in on this thread every few days, so if I see that it's been locked and I don't see another one out there, I for one, will be sure to start #3! Hopefully everyone else who frequents this thread (either lurker or poster) will also watch for this!

OMGosh!!!! That all looks so wonderful! I can't wait. we are going there in Feb.
