Mickeymotto - The cheesecake was wonderful, creamy and rich. It does have a lot of almond flavor!!! And the scallops were some of the best we've had...

I am going to have such a hard time deciding on what to order when I go.....scallops or lobster! Hmmmmm......

this is going to sound ridiculous but I couldn't take looking at the ice cream pictures anymore. I just drove to McDonald's and got a chocolate milkshake. Came home and poured Bailey's in it.

It ain't a Ghiradelli cookie sundae but after a few more pours of Bailey's I don't think I will care.

Sigh...I think I am pitiful.

I know I am almost five months behind in reading this thread but boy did this crack me up! I have never had more fun reading these threads than I have today :) You guys are cracking me up over here! I can't wait to read more...I love seeing all the pictures, but reading your comments are priceless. :rotfl:

Which do you prefer Narcoosee's, Citrico's or California Grill?

I want to try one of these next year and didn't know which to pick.

Hi! I have read this thread a lot, but I have not had anything to post until now! Here are pictures from our trip in July.

Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney - Raging Thunder Buffalo Wings (sauce on the side), a side of fries, and in the background Flying Dragon Pepperoni Pizza. I am glad I had the sauce on the side - it was very hot!

Burger (plain) - I loved our meal here - the atmosphere and the cars are so fun! The food was very nice too.

Kona Cafe - Chocolate Fondue - This was lovely. The dessert menu here is amazing - I think I could have chosen anything off it!

Port Orleans French Quarter Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory - Beignets - These were so nice!

I am not sure that Dick's is still around as when my dd and family went last year I did a search of it to send them in that direction, without a warning, and did not find it. Let me know if you get there. I love MB. I get lost easily and as long as I stay on 17 I am fine even if I go the wrong way I can just turn back around and make it home.

SG

Dick's is still there, at Barefoot Landing !

When I was at the one in San Diego last week, I got in trouble with our server, and he picked me up (and my chair !) and put me out on the sidewalk ! :rotfl: Great place, especially for us sarcastic types !

So funny! DD and I were determined to try these for the first time during our trip in June - we EACH ordered our own! We wound up taking the top cookie and dipping it in the ice cream to eat; still had to throw half of it away though. We won't make that mistake again!
How many of us have gone with the INTENTION of spliting dessert?
Then the menu comes,,we cave in,,,and once again the dessert is
enough for 3 people!!!!
Will that stop me from ordering my own...my very own....Heck NO!
This is V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N-!!!!!:dance3:

Having a fancy dinner without me.:sad2:

You just may have to have TWO drinks with me on the 8th then!;)

Come and join us!!!!:cool1:

Based on the pictures I've seen here, I totally want to!

But, c'mon, you've got to know I already have all my ADRs set for Nov.; and I'm going to have those "darn" kids with me! Seriously, Narcoosee's is on my list for Feb.!

It has taken me a week to get through all of these and I want to thank everyone for this thread. There are some places we are trying in November that I wondered how the food was/looked. I have to admit - I have never been in Goofy's Candy Co and OMG, what I've been missing! :rotfl: That will be a definite stop this time.

Chris

Ok - since I've seen that others have posted their Disney-themed birthday cakes, thought I'd post a picture of the cake we just had from my daughter - courtesy of a bakery from Boston, MA (choc.cake w/choc.mousse filling):
