It's hard to explain Club 33 without sounding snobby... it's this private club above New Orleans Square in Disneyland. Walt wanted a place to entertain bigwigs and guests. Unfortunately, he never saw it completed, and his idea for having animatronic birds that listen in on and participate in people's conversations didn't last long either.

Today the waiting list for membership is something like 10 or 14 years long. Most of the memberships belong to corporations, but regular people can join for a mere $10,450 initiation fee and $3,275 annually. And then, as a member, you get to pay the price of a one-day admission to Disneyland for your meal every time you eat there! The tradeoff is you get "free" admission to Disneyland.

Needless to say, we went as somebody's guests.

Seeing pictures of Club 33 food was totally cool. It's one of these places that most of us will never get to see ($3,275 annually !! ) but I guess seeing the pictures is the next best thing.

BTW, the last set of pictures from the Yacht Club were fabulous!

There is something so wrong with me - I just made this picture my desktop background!

Whenever I am in a countdown to Disney, I change my
desktop background every day with pics from the Dis!
This one is the hardest one to change,,,,,,,The next
one will be non-food...like one of the close-ups of
the hammock at CS....then the next day will be
food porn again!!!!!!!!!!!!!oh,,,,,the wait just keeps on
going and going.........

Does anyone have any recent Boma pictures - or can you confirm the presence - of the FALAFELS??? I love those things and they HAVE to be there in September!!!

Or is 1 plate of falafels and 1 plate of zebra domes for dinner just weird???

YES!! As of last Tuesday, Boma still has the "Falafels". They were pretty good. I don't think Boma will take it out of the menu anytime soon.

The Major Domo Pie looks Fantastic!
After 25 plus visits to WDW.....I have never gone to
the CRT. I have boys,,and they were never interested,and now
that I go on my own, it is always booked...Seems like a lot of money
for one person to go to for lunch, and I try not to go to character
meals anymore,,,What a shame that the Major Domo isn't available
at any other outlet in the MK!
Maybe we can start a petition to have a Major Domo Cart set up
outside the Castle!!!!

Heehee - I didn't even see my DH's retainer in the photo!!! Not too appetizing is it! If I remember correctly, he actually forgot them at CP and luckily we were able to get them back after an hour+ time passed!!!

I WISH the Major Domo Pie was avaliable elsewhere. I am not a big fan of pot roast - but the meat filling in this entree was amazing. I'd eat at CRT again just for this!!

I love the pot roast at 50's. I think it is similar to this, but without the bread thingy. Anyone else think the pot roast at 50's is similar?

My DH loves the pot roast at 50s (scroll back a couple of pages...I posted a pic). I am very fond of the pastry - you could feed me just about anything in phyllo dough and I'd be happy. I guess it's the Lebanese in me!!!
