VERY plain! No seasoning or sauce at all! My kids love fish and ate very little of the mahi mahi. You might be able to get them to add some of the sauce to it though, I would ask!

I agree. I got the adult version of the mahi mahi and my son got the childrens, a world of difference. I tried his, it was dry and flavorless.

Word has it that the Chef from Le Cellier has moved over to Coral Reef in the last month or so!! Even more of a reason to check it out if you ask me!!

Oh no! :scared1: I have ressies for Le Cellier anyone who has been before make a return trip with in the last month or so? Any comparison on the chefs past and present to be made? I hope I can still enjoy my lunch there, I have been raving to my family about everyone's love for Le Cellier for months now hope we are not disappointed.....

i finally get to contribute to the food porn thread again! i will be adding pics every time i upload more for my TR, so it may take me awhile to get them all on here. anyway, here's our first meal of the trip, pizzafari.

cheese pizza, breadsticks with sauce and - don't get too excited - a dasani!

i'm not sure. we didn't use the DDP. we did the DDP last year and it was just way too much food for us. we felt like we were being forced to eat! we actually just shared this meal for lunch and it was plenty for the two of us. this year since i have an AP i just purchased the DDE card and so in most instances we can get what we want and get a 20% discount.

Or, as I like to think of it, free tips. ;)

And your tips for free.

Back on topic, that pizza looks good. I've never actually had a pizza at WDW. I'll have to try one next time. :goodvibes

very true! at least at TS places. at AK both flame tree and pizzafari are included on the DDE card (i'm assuming because there's a lack of TS restaurants there), so i don't have to worry about a tip there!

MikeAidanEoinMom, thanks for the info. Sounds as if it is the same old breakfast platter but with a waffle included. Having lost a vast amount of weight I am loathe to waste calories on the mundane though. How the mighty have fallen! :rotfl:

Slightly Goofy

Oooh! I had no idea. I really have to examine that list of restaurants.

(Sorry for hijacking the thread....now back to your regularly scheduled food porn...)

All the food we had here was very good. We were on the DDP(basic) and it was way too much food. We took all the desserts back to the room.

I love the bread sticks & the best part is if you are on the DDP, they are only 1 snack credit!

i'm going to post my pics as i do my food report, so it will be over a longer period of time.

first breakfast, kona cafe. here's the pineapple mac nut pancakes (or whatever they're called), ham, with the press pot of kona coffee, and that awesome juice.

Hey there - I am a transplant to Austin. I am from Memphis, TN, which I consider the deep south. Home of grits, biscuits and white gravy, and sweet tea. I now live in Austin (Round Rock before), near Lakeway. I am curious what "Austin-ish" means. Bastrop? Kerrville? Manor? Georgetown, San Marcos? Marble Falls?

Speaking of sweet tea - how is it that you can only get it at Chick Fil-A in Austin? It's ridiculous!

Try the sweet tea at Threadgills ! It's great, and you never know who you're going to see there - (check out the celeb pics on the wall . . . ). Btw, they're known for their Chicken Fried Steak, if you like that type of thing - not my cup of tea, but my husband loves it.

Would that local place be FRIENDLY'S!!!!! Former Boston Babe here and I miss me some Friendlys

An original Long Island girl here, and I miss me some Friendly's too ! Also miss Carvel (we had two close by but they closed recently:confused3 ). Also had a Swensen's, but they closed too - what's a girl got to do to get some black raspberry ice cream here in Texas . . . ?:sad1:

Every time I go to Florida I head for Friendly's to get my black raspberry fix !
