Meh.... the Mahi Mahi with "Cantonese sweet and sour sauce" tasted like Gorton's fish sticks in sweet ketchup. The pot stickers were OK, but overall it felt like a ripoff (plus they don't give a DDE discount, and the AP discount is like 10% off up to 4 entrees only, or something. Boo!)

Oh, well I wouldn't go THAT far :rotfl:

I didn't mean to disuade you - Y&Y has great atmosphere and friendly servers. And the food isn't bad, it's just not as authentic as I'd (foolishly) hoped. :thumbsup2

I have to second that Y&Y is :confused3 I ate there a couple of days after they opened, and thought it was way too overpriced for the quality of the food. The server was very nice though and kept asking me what I had done that day and giving me some tips about AK (I was going through my digital pictures trying to delete some to make more space, so he was looking at them with me). I haven't completely scratched the restaurant of my list yet, I'm going to wait a few more months and try it again - then decide if I should bother.

Oh, just to tell you my immediate reaction after eating there was "where is the closest PF Chang's? 'Cause now I need some authentic chinese food to get this taste out of my mouth!" :lmao:

This will sound like a stupid-duh question. But where can I find these huge bowl of ice cream?

Beaches and Cream. :) The bad thing is that you can't make ressies and it's a small and popular place to be. So if you do end up going, you have to either go way early or expect to wait a while. :) (i've never been, but i've been warned. LOL! I'll gladly wait a while for ice cream.:lmao: )

Any opinions on Kona's Coconut Chicken and Pomegranate Pork Chops? Can't decide which to have...any pics of either?? Would love to drool over...er see them :lmao:

Ok - fess up! How many of you helped to polish that off?

Only 2 adults, 1 teen & 2 preteens. It wasn't that bad because the filling stuff was missing; brownies, pound cake, milky ways, etc. I didn't tell them to leave it out but once I mentioned no nuts (allergy) they refused to put in anything that has nuts. He only has a mild reaction so I wasn't too concerned but apparantly they are.;)

caty2k7, I grew up drinking out of a Mason/Kerr jar so I do not get quite as excited about drinking out of one when eating out. :lmao: I was on vacation somewhere one time where they advertised that you could go quail hunting for ONLY $300 and were guaranteed to get three. Since I also grew up with a dad that trapped for fur to pay for our school clothes I think back on those days and realize we were rich, just did not know it. :worship:

The Kitchen Sink makes me sick. I am only able to eat a bite or two of most sweets. Anyone want to follow me around just for the leftovers? :rotfl2:

Slightly Goofy

Thanks for posting that picture :) Is that the new chicken nuggets or the old chicken tenders? I love the old ones, but I'm willing to try the new ones. Never met a chicken tender I didn't like :)

I may have over looked it, but does anyone have pics of the deli buffet lunch at Crystal Palace? I'm starting to worry that I may should have booked CP for breakfast. TIA!

Its not really a deli buffet. Yes, there are some lunch meats in the cold area of the buffet, but there are lots of hot items. In fact most of the same items that they serve for Dinner. (minus the prime rib)
