Disney Food Pictures...Part II

I wish I had pictures of the actual food but unfortunetly we did not think to take pictures of food...so this is the closest thing...we now know to take pics next time we are there...especially since this was one of our favorite restaurants...

Can you tell me how the food was at Jiko? We are going to give it a try in October since we are staying at the AKL

My family and I went to Jiko in August and found that it was the best meal we had at WDW...unfortunetly we did not take any pictures of the food as we never thought to but I sure wish we did...here is what we had eaten there...I had Kenyan Coffee Barbequed Chicken as an appetizer, the Tamarind-Braised Beef Short Ribs for my main entree and Green Apple Mascarpone Trifle for dessert, my DH had the same appetizer, Maize-crusted & Seared Pacific Sturgeon for entree, and Inspired by "The Year of a Million Dreams" for dessert, and my DD had the veggie sticks for an appetizer, the Grilled Chicken Breast for entree, and the smores for dessert...it was the most amazing food here...I would suggest anyone to try this restaurant and I think you will all be amazed...

this isn't a food pic but a pic of the different size beverage containers we got at whispering canyon. We love the joking and teasing they do plus the food was good so we're definitely going back. The waitress made my son get up and lead the whole lunch crowd in the hokey pokey!

yeah I think his exact words were "get in my belly" of course that is after he stared at it lovingly for 5 minutes or so


They were making a kitchen sink while we were there too, it's monstrous! This pic isn't so good but hopefully you can see the CM constructing it on the counter in the back.

Utah Mama, et al - In my opinion, the reason this thread helps to curb my appetite is because I have to cook all our meals, and I can't make anything that good, so consequently nothing sounds good and I eat less.
Coming back home after free dining was such a downer. My kitchen just doesn't have as good of service and selection.

If my DH happens to walk by when I'm on the DISboards he might say something like "You looking at that Disney **** again". (can't understand it but he just isn't as big of a Disney fan as me ) However, I was enjoying a little food porn the other night and he walks by and takes a 2nd look. Next thing I know he is saying "Oh, what's that? ....umm that looks good, show me some more....ohhh were can you get that? ....what else is there?

You guys are going to have to stop posting these food pics, I think I might have a potential addict on my hands!
