How was it? Whats in it? Is it on the lunch or dinner menu?

Can't remember what it's called but it's basically beef stew. Again, from San Angel Inn:

I can't remember what it's called but I remember it was a special that day...we ate there for dinner. DBF said that basically, it's beef stew but with a lot more flavor...he absolutely loved it. I'll search the menu and see if I can find the name of it....

ETA: I checked the menus and they don't list the specials unfortunately. I even checked my TR and I didn't write it down so it wasn't listed there either  sorry!

This is the Potato Pancake at Shula's Steakhouse. I did not want to use a flash in there as I didn't think that would be appropriate. I know it looks like a cow patty or and alien but you can see how big they are. 3-4 people could eat off the thing.

I noticed the hidden Mickey too!! It looks like his whole body!

Anyway, here is some info/pics on the evening offerings at AKL club lounge:

There were 3 hot items that rotated (there was one soup, one veggie item, & one meat per night):

Soup - Coconut Curry, Carrot Ginger, & African Stew
"Veggie" item - some type of veggie pastry, meatballs
Meat - ribs, chicken wings, & grilled chicken pieces

These were available every night:

Cold veggies - Morrocan style carrots, artichokes & hearts of palm, marinated olives, celery, & roasted peppers

Pita chips, hummus (black olive & white bean), yogurt dip (this was kind of spicy). Also Uncrustables PB&J and gummy bears for the kids.

Cheeses - gouda, smoked cheddar, brie, & blue with crackers.

There were also African wines and beer (Tusker, Michelob, & Miller Lite) in addition to the usual drinks available all day.

It looks like the Brie and Smoked Cheddar signs got switched (not that it would have slowed me down!;) ).

Man - I think I need to start saving more money so I can enjoy concierge one day. That looks heavenly!

One of the great perks of owning DVC at Animal Kingdom Villas!! Believe me, we would never have paid the cash price for a conciege room. We certainly enjoyed every minute of it!

If you're DVC, you have access to the concierge?! I'm DVC - home resort is the BW though. I never heard this! Or is just because that's where you were staying because they're still building the DVC at AKL?

You have access to concierge if you book a concierge room. Those are a few extra points and are very hard to get (I had to call day by day at the 11 month window; a 9 night studio stay June 1 - 10 was 167 points). I think there are only five 2 BR lockoffs which equals 5 1 BRs and 5 studios. They are all located on the 6th floor, which is now exclusively DVC and will stay that way. Kidani will be all DVC, while Jambo house just has several rooms that have been converted to DVC.

 Call Me Goofy,,,,But did anyones else notice the
Hidden Mickey on the Boyfriends shirt!!!!

Yep,,I've lost it;)

are you guys referring to the stain on his shirt? i'm disney crazy too but i must admit i didn't notice that! i will have to send this link to my sister...she will get a kick out of her boyfriend having a famous hidden mickey!
