since everyone is drooling so much over that banana slushie, here's a better view of it. i just posted the other picture with the pretzel because it killed two birds with one stone, but apparently no one cares about the other bird! :rotfl:

That banana slushie looks so good right now! I'm not usually a big fan of banana's in my drinks, but that just looks super good!!
Bananas are good with EVERYTHING, lol. Anyone remember going to DW as a child and getting chocolate cover Bananas on a stick???? YUM!!!! Anywhere still make them?

i know i've seen frozen chocolate covered bananas as AK. i think maybe even at some of the other parks. i've never tried one, though. i'm weird about textures. like if that banana slushie above had chunks of banana in it (like a smoothie), i would've gagged! but i like the FLAVOR of banana.

They are sold prepackaged at many of the ice cream carts around the parks. (with the Mickey bars and the Itzakadoozies)

I got one last Aug. at a cart in Epcot! Had never had one before, but found it too cold for my sensitive teeth...:duck:

On a side note, I have also seen them in the freezer case at the grocery store, not sure what brand makes em... of the top of my head I think its Good Humor Brand, but will check.

For me, the key is to let them thaw for a while before you try to eat them. When they are frozen solid, its hard to taste the yummy flavor. The chocolate "warms" too and its all.....yum.... so good!!

Thats easy in the Florida sun!!!! Just walk 5 feet from the cart and that happens!!!
I've had them too. They are a close tie between Mickey Bars. ...and the big cookies... and the strawberry pops.... and the........:confused3

But seriously, they are awesome. Just don't try to duplicate one at home. Trust me... I've tried it several times. It just cant compare to the ones at WDW, and when we tried it we got little pieces of aluminum foil in the chocolate. Not good with fillings!:scared1:

Yummy! I sooo am going to look for them on our next trip! I guess I was so busy trying to see everything, I didnt even look, lol.

Thanks!

My favorite Banana frozen type treat is to have a hot fudge sundae with sliced bananas (I also like to add oreos to this, but, it's kind of sweet then.)

Topping the bananas with hot fudge on the cold ice cream is pretty close to the taste of a frozen banana.

And to make sure this post is not a total :offtopic: :

Rose and Crown Fish and Chips -

Is the fish and chips at the window service counter the same as they serve in the table service? We have been to WDW over 50 times and never tried either. They smell good though while we are standing in line for the 1/2 yard of Guniness!

We always get the fish and chips from the window LOVE THEM!! We tried R&C two years ago and I wasn't that impressed with the fish and chips. I really like my fish crispy and in the restaurant they were a bit soggy.

I think in theory it is the same, except for the portion at the window is several small pieces, and inside the R & C it is a rather large piece.

My theory is the smaller pieces would cook better.

We did like the big pieces though.

From the picture posted above (#2581) it looks to me like they're the same. But inside the restaurant they're about double the price! Except for the fact that the fish/chips is in a wicker basket in that picture....and at the Yorkshire counter they come in a paper tray....oh, and the tartar sauce outside is from a rip open packet.......otherwise they look the same size and shape, lol.

The ones from Yorkshire are delicious!
