If you order from the Disney Floral and Gifts, Is it possible for them to leave it in your room? Or do you have to be there when it comes? I've noticed some say they deliver it after you go to your room, and seen others get surprised when someone back home buys one and it's in their room already. I'd love to do this for my sister's bday next year and it'd be cool to have it in our room when we get back as opposed to getting delivered when we are there. I like the idea of walking in and seeing it and being surprised.

I only ordered from them once when I sent my friend a surprise for her honeymoon and I'm not sure when they delivered it. However, I can say that my MIL ordered DH and I a gift on our honeymoon and--if memory serves--it was delivered while we were out. We came back to find it on our table. I'm not sure if this is still the case.

If you are staying CL, then it can be delivered to your room before you check in. Otherwise, it can be delivered after you check in and you don't have to be there to accept. Although, I've heard some people say that it has been left at the front desk.

Both times I have ordered, I was told when ordering that I could not have it delivered on arrival day. So I set mine up to be delivered 1-2 days after arrival. It was in the room when returning in the evening from the parks.

If you order something with alcohol in it, someone over 21 with ID has to accept it. If no one over 21 is in (or no one in the room), it's left at the desk.

If you order anything that does not have alcohol in it, they will leave it in your room.

No alcohol lol.
Her bday will be a couple days after our arrival so that works out perfectly. I was hoping it'd be in the room after we get back.
Thanks for all the replies.

One clarification, WDW Florist does NOT deliver to the rooms (except for the large "In-room celebrations" which they do go in and set up). Other than that WDW Florist delivers to the Front Desk of the resorts. Then the runner of the resort delivers those items to the rooms. As stated before, an item will be placed in a room before arrival for Club Level guests. All other deliveries are made after the guest checks in. If you want an item delivered on a certain day or time, just let the Front Desk know.

We did POFQ in 2010, and the basked I ordered was put in the room. Honestly, there were two bottles of champagne, and the basket was still left in our room. However, we are two adults, and no kids were in the room with us, none on our reservation. I didn't think it would be put in our room, but were happy that it was!!

As long as someone is able to put it in the room, I don't mind exactly who lol

Awesome, I'm looking foward to it hopefully being in the room when we get there, even if I have to pick it up at the front desk, it'd still be a nice surprise.
