Disney Files Magazine?

When will the next issue be sent out? The last one I received was the Winter 2007 issue.

I was wondering the same thing. But the last one that I received I thought was the Spring Issue.

It is a quarterly publication. The Spring issue came out in Feb or March, I would expect the Summer issue in late May to mid-June.

We happened to stop by the SSR Preview Center Saturday and one of the folks there gave us the new Disney Files. It was a "3D" issue with highlights of the new Toy Story Mania and 3D glasses included. Some of the pics were OK, some I thought were printed wrong or something.

This issue was an improvement over the last issue but they still have a ways to go.

Got mine on Friday, May 16th! You're right, some of the photos were 3D but some others didn't work. I do look forward to it though.

I just received mine today. It's the Summer 2008 issue. I'm very excited to read it. I'm a brand new member and this is the first issue I have received so I don't have anything to compare it with.

For the past few years they have had different get togethers (different from the "Welcome Home Wednesdays" at the BoardWalk). Last year it was called Summer on the Savannah. I have never been, but they have prizes and such.

My copy arrived today. I thought the issue was interesting. But it certaily wasn't very DVC specific. Had some interestig articles about all the Disney parks and the company in general, though. I think it is a lot better than the last issue. As long as it keeps improving I'll be happy.

I'd like to see some "human interest" type pieces, maybe on some of the long term CMs, who've been at the resorts for a long time. Not the managers, the servers, front desk people, etc.

I enjoy the magazine, heck it's a Disney Fix.....but I do have a question:

Has anyone else noticed how nearly every article always has parenthesized explanations? I find it extremely annoying! Does ONE person write the entire magazine? I know, nit-picky, but just an observation.

Got ours a couple days ago. Yeah, the 3D is "cute", but I miss the real DVC type stories and interest. This issue was fun to look at but nothing to read. I want the OLD Vacation Magic from a few years ago back.

I got mine today!!!!!
