You need to have 10 posts to PM people - congratulations, lol you can now PM people!
After my last FE organizing, you are more than welcome to take over, it is indeed fun, but A LOT of work to organize. Really, the only reason I started doing it was because no one else was.Didn't mean to just take over, but I wanted to make sure that everyone did get a chance to participate. Glad to see that you are back. If you would forward the information to me, I would appreciate it. Thanks! BTW - I had DISDiva add you to the second group because I wasn't sure if you would be back - I know that the group will soon be full!
Definitely not! I think I screamed out loud when they announced the Star Wars Day at Sea. We had just gotten back from our first cruise so it was not easy convincing my husband that we had to go do another more expensive one! Also, it looks like we're sailing on a Star Wars cruise! Are we the only ones excited for this? Haha.
I'm not 100% sure how I'm going to break the news yet, but you can get some really funny ideas of how NOT to if you look for "Disney surprise fail" on Youtube! LOL I'm leaning towards some combination of scavenger hunt and puzzle/code. Although I may just tell them we're going to visit Granny (my mom) for a surprise and then give them clues along the drive. We'll technically be visiting with Granny since she's coming with us! ;-)
Hi everyone! First time on the forums, second Disney Cruise (first test run- 3 day cruise in Jan 2015 on the Dream.) SO excited for the Star Wars cruise but like a couple others on here it is a secret from our boys until Christmas and it is killing me to not be able to talk about it!! Traveling with my mom, my sister, DH, me, DS (will be 8), DS (will be 5).
All 3 of my boys are HUGE Star Wars fans so I am kind of a fan by proxy because I have been forced to watch everything over and over again (including all seasons of The Clone Wars)and am super excited to watch the new Star Wars movie on the cruise! May dress up as Ahsoka Tano, she's my favorite female character in any Star Wars movie/show!
Husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary on the cruise and want to do either a dinner at Palo or the champagne brunch if anyone has any recommendations on which is better I would love to hear it! I would also love for my two boys to make some friends on the ship to play with in the clubs and pools and such (if your kids are into Star Wars or Minecraft my kids will talk to them all day long)
Oh awesome!! The younger two are right around my boys' ages! We should try to meet up sometime on the cruiseMine do!!! My boys will be 12, 9, and 5 before sailing.
Ha! Sounds like my life! We should all get our kids together so they can talk each others' ears off about Minecraft and Star Wars and we'll go have an adult break with some delicious drinks of the day!djtwink, my boys LOVE Star Wars and Mine Craft. That is pretty much all I hear all.day.long when not in school! My boys will be 8 & 6 on the cruise. We are going with friends and they have an 8 year old dd and a 5 year old ds.
I did not see a lot of people wearing Mickey ears on the cruise I was on last January, I don't know if that varies for different cruises?Do many people wear Mickey ears on the ship like in the parks?
