Didn't mean to just take over, but I wanted to make sure that everyone did get a chance to participate. Glad to see that you are back. If you would forward the information to me, I would appreciate it. Thanks! BTW - I had DISDiva add you to the second group because I wasn't sure if you would be back - I know that the group will soon be full!
After my last FE organizing, you are more than welcome to take over, it is indeed fun, but A LOT of work to organize. Really, the only reason I started doing it was because no one else was.

I had determined that I was NOT going to do multiple groups on this one if I was the only person that was going to be organizing it. Groups just get so complicated and then so many want to be in all the groups. Anyway, thank you for stepping up for this one, it is a huge bit off my plate that keeps seeming to get fuller and fuller all the time.

HookdonWDW, I was trying to send you a pm, I started a conversation with you. Not sure if it is the same thing, still learning. Anyway, I just wanted to make sure you got it. It has all our cabin info. :)

Hi everyone! First time on the forums, second Disney Cruise (first test run- 3 day cruise in Jan 2015 on the Dream.) SO excited for the Star Wars cruise but like a couple others on here it is a secret from our boys until Christmas and it is killing me to not be able to talk about it!! Traveling with my mom, my sister, DH, me, DS (will be 8), DS (will be 5).
All 3 of my boys are HUGE Star Wars fans so I am kind of a fan by proxy because I have been forced to watch everything over and over again (including all seasons of The Clone Wars) :D and am super excited to watch the new Star Wars movie on the cruise! May dress up as Ahsoka Tano, she's my favorite female character in any Star Wars movie/show!
Husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary on the cruise and want to do either a dinner at Palo or the champagne brunch if anyone has any recommendations on which is better I would love to hear it! I would also love for my two boys to make some friends on the ship to play with in the clubs and pools and such (if your kids are into Star Wars or Minecraft my kids will talk to them all day long :chat:)

Also, it looks like we're sailing on a Star Wars cruise! Are we the only ones excited for this? Haha.
Definitely not! I think I screamed out loud when they announced the Star Wars Day at Sea. We had just gotten back from our first cruise so it was not easy convincing my husband that we had to go do another more expensive one! :-)

I'm not 100% sure how I'm going to break the news yet, but you can get some really funny ideas of how NOT to if you look for "Disney surprise fail" on Youtube! LOL I'm leaning towards some combination of scavenger hunt and puzzle/code. Although I may just tell them we're going to visit Granny (my mom) for a surprise and then give them clues along the drive. We'll technically be visiting with Granny since she's coming with us! ;-)

We surprised our kids with a trip to WDW a few years ago and I saw something where someone had put Mickey balloons in a box and wrapped it. I thought it was a super cute idea so that's how we did it only when our kids opened the box, all they cared about was playing with the balloons, they didn't care about going to WDW at all! Sigh...I think I'm going to go the scavenger hunt route with them this year, hopefully it will go over better!

Please add us to the FE list, we would like to participate with all lists (our last cruise had 74 cabins total).
Cabin 7584
Adult - 2
Celebration - running Walt Disney World half marathon Saturday before going on cruise.

Mine do!!! My boys will be 12, 9, and 5 before sailing.

djtwink, my boys LOVE Star Wars and Mine Craft. That is pretty much all I hear all.day.long when not in school! My boys will be 8 & 6 on the cruise. We are going with friends and they have an 8 year old dd and a 5 year old ds.

Ha! Sounds like my life! We should all get our kids together so they can talk each others' ears off about Minecraft and Star Wars and we'll go have an adult break with some delicious drinks of the day! :hyper2:

hookdonwdw, sorry to ask again, but did you get my msg? I just want to make sure you got all of our info. It hasn't been updated on the FE post, so I'm just checking. :-)

HookdonWDW, I just wanted to make sure you got my msg with our info for the FE. And if this msg comes up 2x's, sorry. On my end it looks like it didn't post. Anyway, just wanted to make sure. And I forgot to add that we are going on this cruise to celebrate my birthday. :bday:

There were a fair number on the San Diego to Vancouver cruise we just went on, but I don't know how much that has to do with the cruise being on the west coast and so many people having gone to Disneyland and/or that are Disneyland passholders.
