I need something for my door that won't get the from the boss types.

So 3 out 6 of us may take part in the CC5k. First of all we don't run. And as the popular saying goes.
"I don't run. If you see me running, you should too; because chances are I'm being chased" so we will need all 7 months to "train" (loosely speaking of course)

But since this may be our only Disney cruise and we are all trying to live a more healthy lifestyle we figured what the heck.
My hubby is a willing participant, but our 12 yr old needs some motivation so my question is: can you keep the bib? He is fixated on the bib.

Yes, you can keep the bib. But it's paper, like other race bibs. And you get a Mickey medal.

I finally completed a full 5k at the gym yesterday. Majority of it was walking, but now I have a time to beat. 53 minutes.
The goal is to complete the CC5k in 40 minutes or less. Want to earn the shirt

We're cachers! We didn't look for any on our last cruise, but we definitely will this time.

We took our first cruise in 2012 after our daughter begged for months. We did the 3 night to Nassau. She cried all the way home to GA the day we got back. Since then, she has wanted nothing else but to get back on the ship.

So, we are cruising again this October. I have the app on my phone to count down and it isn't moving fast enough! We would like to do the fish extenders but I need a little more info. Are the gifts small items or more elaborate things? I'm not much of a crafter so I don't want to get in over my head!

We're on the 7th deck, but I can't find the room number email right now. It is just hubby (48), daughter (11), and myself. We'll celebrate daughter's 12th birthday on the cruise, even though her actual birthday will be a week later.

We are geocachers. We are not runners, but I would love to be in shape enough to do the 5K. I'm going to keep working towards that. My desktop at work is a picture of Castaway Cay and I've already requested the leave. We'll probably stay with friends Friday night in Jacksonville before driving in on the morning of the 4th.

Daughter met a friend on the Aquaduck on our first cruise and they still write/text to this day. I hope she meets some other great girls on this cruise. I've joined the FB group and I'll check in here too. We're so excited!

I have walked 4 Half-Marathons but I am sticking to the 5K this year. I am hoping to do one each season. DH and I walked the Hot Chocolate 5K in Nashville on Feb. 15. It was so cold but that did not motivate me to move any faster. I think our time was 53 or 54 minutes. I think the Castaway Cay 5K would be great for my Fall 5K.
I don't think we can live up to the 40 minutes or less.

I'm just now venturing into this arena. I figured it would help keep me motivated.
