Spring Breakers ~ Any plans?

As we "speak" we are having a concrete pad with basketball hoop put in at our house...that is where our spring break $$$ is going. I am taking Thursday off to work on FE gifts with my BFF again. Then next week my kids will be out of state with grandparents for the whole week... mommy and daddy alone time for a week!!!

When you do your FE's; especially if you are doing individual gifts; how do you know how many to buy or make before the groups are assigned?
I always find things, but I never know how much to buy...Don't want to go overboard and yet I don't want to cut myself short and not be able to find more in ohhh 6 months.

PeterVol55 there are a couple ways to get you and your group added to the FE.
Nancy ~ MissDaisyofTexas is organizing the FE and gathers info from both the DIS and FB groups.

~~You can post the info(names,ages,cabin numbers)here in a post.
~~PM Nancy your group's info
~~On Facebook; there is a sign up post pinned to the top of the group page.

If you are interested in being in more than one FE group.. (15-20ish cabins for each group is the tentative range) let Nancy know that as well

August 20th she will close the FE sign ups, determine a final tally on the total number of cabins and then open a vote in the DIS and FB groups to to determine how many cabins will be in each FE group.

Hello everyone!!! We are getting very excited for the upcoming cruise! This will be our 3rd cruise on DCL but our first on the Fantasy!! Our last cruise was 7 years ago so we are way overdue!!

We will be in 6108 and will have:

Me- Shalley
Hubby- Ray
Daughter- 11 year old Sydney
and we are really hoping Grandma- Faye (she will have to decide by July 1)

We've been counting down for a few months now and I'm getting excited about the 199 day mark--with Spring Break, summer and the beginning of middle school.....time will fly by and it will be time for Fall Break--October cruise!!

Hi everyone! I haven't been on a discussion forum in years so I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly. Please excuse me if I post this incorrectly and if incorrect, please give me some tips!

My family will be on the Oct 4 Fantasy cruise to the Caribbean and we'd like to join the FE fun! This is our second cruise and I didn't know about FE on our first trip but my friends tell me it is a lot of fun.

We booked this trip because we really need a vacation...and then after I booked it, I realized that our anniversary falls during the cruise! so this trip will also be a celebration of our 7 year anniversary.

So I have a few questions:

I would like to join the fish extender group but I don't have a facebook anymore... is it still possible to join?

As well as how do the gifts work? My Boyfriend and I were wondering if we have to do separate gifts or if we can do a gift from the both of us... as well as how many people are typically in a group?

and does anyone have any information on how i can go about making an actual fish extender that hangs? we are so new to this and its a little confusing but sounds really fun!

Also- I read somewhere that theres usually 20-30 people in a group so is 20-30 families so a gift for many more people than that or 20-30 people including all family members? and is it one gift per person/one gift per family? im so confused!
