I know that on the Disney Fantasy, on Nights 5, 6, and 7, on the Eastern Caribbean Itinerary A cruise, the menus that are offered are called Prince and Princess Menu, Captain's Gala, and Till We Meet Again. I also know that, unless things have changed recently, that in whichever of those nights you are assigned to Animator's Palate, you do not get the full menu, and that there is only 1 appetizer (a potato soup that I have absolutely no interest in, since I hate potatoes), and only 1 dessert (one of the desserts from the normal menu from that night).
My questions are:
1. Is this still the case that in Animator's Palate on Nights 5, 6, and 7, that you do not get the full appetizer and dessert menu? Is the full menu offered for the entres?
2. Where can I find the current menus for Nights 5, 6, and 7? I would want to be sure that I am not missing any appetizers and desserts that I would have really enjoyed.
3. Where can I find the single dessert item for each night at Animator's Palate? I want to be sure that if I am only given 1 dessert "option" and being cheated out of an appetizer (since I hate potatoes) that I will at least get a dessert that I would enjoy.
4. I know that Night 6, the Captain's Gala, is the lobster night. I know that on Carnival, the formal night lobster is smaller than any other meal that they offer. Is that also the case on Disney, that the lobster on Night 6 is smaller than other meals? If so, that would mean I would be more dependent on an appetizer and dessert if the meal is smaller. If I am going to be cheated out of an appetizer, I want it to be on a night that the meal is substantial enough.
On another note, my wife (who doesn't seem to care about the meals, and only seems to care about matching her dresses to the dining rooms, which makes no sense to me, since I am a guy) seems to want ERAERAE so that we can be in Royal Court for the first formal night. But that also means that we would be in Animator's Palate for the 2nd formal night, which to me, defeats the purpose, since that is supposed to be the most casual dining room. (yes, I know the 2nd night is technically a semi-formal night, but my understanding is that they are de facto the same). I was thinking a possible compromise would be AERAERA, since it would avoid Animator's Palate on both formal nights. But I would be somewhat concerned that this would be the kiddie rotation (the Passporters Guide says rotations are still assigned by age, regardless of what Disney says), and it would put us in Royal Court for the 2nd formal night rather than the first.
One final thing: this cruise is the week of Sept. 12, 2015. My understanding is that Disney will have started their Halloween theme by then. But my understanding is that the Halloween night will be Night 5 (Prince and Princess menu night), and (unlike on the Dream) it does not affect the rotations or the menus. Is this all correct?
Thank you for your help.
