OK....on other Meet threads, one of the earliest entrys on the thread is continually updated as people join the thread. I think we should do the same here! If interested, I will summarize all of the info thus far....and if 'ksucats', 'Husurdaddy', or 'Donald Applecore' would be willing to edit their post on page 1, that would be great! So....what you think? We can also summarize who wants to participate in the FE program

Say the word and I'm a'summarizin'!!!

Tony

:jumping1:

Sounds good to me :thumbsup2. We did this last time and even had everyone's photos on the first post. It was a great way to "meet" everyone at a glance. Good idea to put FE info there too :cool1:.

All for it! We did it last time and it was very helpful to know exactly where to look for peoples information.
This is a helpful guide:

***Roll Call***
DIS Name
Name/age(at sailing) of everyone sailing
From
Staterooms
Celebrations
Dining (Main or Late)
Show Time
Partipate in FE:

Also, if we can put REAL names on the roll call instead of the usual DH, DS, DD- unless you really don't want people to know the names since it's in a public forum.

So it should read

SpeedFigure
JorDan (28), Chad (32), Graysen (2 1/2)

Main Dining, 7PM show
Participate in FE: YES

I love the idea of having everything at the beginning easy to find :)

We would love to do the FE we had a blast the last two times we did one :)

We just need someone to volunteer from page 1 to let us take over their post for ***ROLE CALL***, and we can get it going.

So, you've read about our large family going (25 so far), and here is the boarding pic of some of us on our Magic cruise in 2/2010. Hard to believe it's been a year already.

After quite a bit of thought, Adam and I are pulling out of this cruise. We certainly intend to cruise the Fantasy (as well as many other ships), but the timing of this cruise simply will not work for us.

When we booked (ages ago), we assumed we would join the ranks of many other KLPs and come to the cruise with a new addition to our family. Unfortunately, our "plans" haven't gone as we had hoped. Even if things went beautifully from here forward (which is not the case and won't be until April at the earliest), our infant would be less than 6 months old at cruise time. While I know the minimum age is 3 months, I simply won't travel by boat with a child that young. Plus...there will be a 40% chance that we won't be travelling with just one!

We hope you all have a wonderful time! Ours will come...just not in May 2012!

We haven't met, but I want to wish you all the best. I am sure this was not an easy decision. Best of everything in your pursuits.

Sorry to hear that you won't be joining us :worried:, but hoping for much success for you and Adam at starting your family :grouphug:.

Awww sorry Cinda and Adam to hear you won't be joining us!! The dining won't be the same with you. There will ALWAYS be cruises coming forward that we can take together. Best of luck with the baby situation!! HUGS!!

Kathy- I think you are right, we must have 5 PM show. Hmmm I better double check to make sure :)

Sorry, I currently work as a Municipal Prosecutor & my fluctuating caseload makes it difficult for me to post on a consistent basis. However, I wouldn't mind sharing my username & password information with whoever is going to manage the post. Just PM me if we need to go that route.

Not being at work for a week is an excellent reason to celebrate! Btw, we had over 350 Diser's on our WBTA last Sept!! That was massive! :upsidedow

I found out what Pixie Dust looks like: Check out post #263, page 18. He's right between his parents, Faith and Trust. What a cutie!

Hi Everyone!

My apologies for not being active on here. As the other KLP'ers know, I am not a quiet one. :goodvibes

This past couple of weeks have been tough. A dear friend of mine "passed the torch" as she said, in her battle against breast cancer. She was a tough cookie. She fought for 5 years beating everyone's expectations. I met her "in between" cancer diagnosis and we trained and completed a triathalon together. She was 38 and leaves behind a 6 year old son. I am close with her baby sister and the rest of the tri group and together we got to say goodbye before she left and then finally, say goodbye yesterday in a beautiful memorial service. The sky was a clear blue and it was 82 degrees outside (yes, I said 82) and it was clear that she was looking down on all of us.

Her big motto was "Eat Life with a BIG Spoon" which we will continue to do. I ask each of you to do the same. Life is precious -- enjoy every single day no matter what.

Phew -- ok, sorry, not wanting to be a downer, just wanted to explain why I have been so quiet. I also wanted to share her story because my guess is it will shape some of my future activities I will be "griping" about including a possible 10k and another tri (I am no athlete!).

Now -- am moving on and will begin looking at this cruise more carefully and planning planning planning.

Once I catch up with work, :surfweb: will post more including a picture of us and our roll call. Will also catch up with everyone's posts -- have lots to say!!!!

Have a wonderful Monday everyone!!!!!!
